Unhappy Eating is a chore

Yes, you read it right.

Sometimes I get so tired of eating all the time. And I only eat 6x per day. I eat a lot at each meal since my goals are requiring that, and it gets hard sometimes.

Does anybody else get sick of eating like a BBer?

Its more of a chore to me than the lifting. That part is what I love the most!

Does anyone here take digestive enzymes to help digest all the food you are eating?

All these damn complex, clean carbs are hard to digest and I'm always bloated with stomach pressure.

Variety can be very challenging too.

I think that's the hardest part of bodybuilding, and unfortunately it's also the most important.

Indeed, eating can get really hard. I think the hardest part is actually designing the diet. How insulin sensitive, what ratio to use, how to design a diet having that ratio when when all meals have different requirements of nutrients etc..It's a real pain in the butt.

Eating right and enough is definately the hardest part of the whole game for me. #1 reason I'm not a lot bigger then I am. My training has always been solid but diet often sucks.

Is this why my stomach ALWAYS makes noise, no matter what I eat? First I thought it was the raw oats so I skipped them a couple of days. Same result. I was looking at some enzyme tabs tonight, but it said to take 2 with each meal. I'd be taking 10 a day!?!? At about $4.50 for a purse-pack of 20 pills, I don't think that would work.

I agree with you 100%. I especially dislike never being "empty." I'm always full at one end or the other. :o

Yeah, that doesn't sound to rite Anyone know what the deal is with enzymes, because I was thinking about them myself.

My dog is such a chow hound that I get to feeling guilty being in the kitchen for 5-6 meals a day when he only get's two. I try to explain that its really an inconvenience, but he doesn't understand. If only I had his appetite.

Sometimes it is a chore, but you gotta keep with it. Maybe eat more calorie rich foods.

And I get some Digestive Enzymes from my ON 100% whey, I usually have 2-3 scoops a day.

I'm on vacation right now and it's soooooooooo hard to keep to a schedule. That's one good thing about work. I wake up at the same time, eat at the same times. I think I'm lucky I'm maintaining my weight right now.

I get tired of eating so often, but I'm used to it now. If it gets too long since I've eaten I get really hungry again. The cooking gets old but I just do a big amount all at once. For example I'll make several days worth of chicken and rice and just keep it in the refridgerator.

But it is worth it since diet is so important to the results. :weight_li

I agree that it is definitely worth it or I wouldn't do it, but as time goes on I am getting more and more tired of it. I've been eating for performance over pleasure for 23 years now. It gets old after the 1st 2 decades. : pukey:

Yup, for sure, always planning stuff out and taking time to eat can get to be a chore, but in the end I think it pays off for how much better you feel when you eat clean and healthy.
