I like it. I tried adding protein powder one time. Also, you could try adding some fruit along with it, unless it's full fat, and you're trying to add lean mass...

You could make a cottage cheese ice-cream with it:

I won't eat cottage cheese ever again. I tried to eat it back when I started to PL, but I couldn't stand the stuff! YUCK

I actually like it. I took me a bit of time to get used to it but I do like it. Problem is I'm lactose intolerant so it gives me pant burning gas and shit that could pass through a screen. Needless to say I haven't eaten for awhile.

I have a phobia of cottage cheese among other things like ranch dressing and mayonnaise. I refuse to look at it, touch it, and i run from it if it is close. Pretty bad isn't it? People make fun of me very badly because of my intense fears of nasty white stuff.

Anyway, my girlfriend of course loves those things. She says to slice up and add pineapples or peaches to the cottage cheese to make it more bearable.

I love cottage cheese, but I've found that there is sometimes a pretty wide variation of flavor between brands. Some brands (Darigold Nonfat) taste just like sour milk, while others are nice and bland.

I found the same thing to be true with Tuna. After some coercion on another forum, I tried several different tuna brands. I actually found one or two I can stomach. Fortunately, the ones I liked the best were the cheapest (so maybe it's dolphin I like? ) Anyway, I'd recommend several different brands before giving up on such a good food. Aren't we supposed to eat for function not flavor?

get freidnship brand 0% fat it has 4g sugar 15 g protein per sereving.

take it slow, spoonful at a time, and just drown it down with water. i cant understand how people like this stuff, but it gets easier, just like tuna fresh out the can did. My first few times i had to hold my nose. its pretty nasty stuff.

I used to have major issues with cottage cheese , but after learning how good it is for you I've gotten into eating it the past couple of years. And now I have it everyday.

I just have it plain but the taste doesn't bother me, at least with the Kroger brand. Some brands like walmart & meijer are disgusting IMO.
