Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 160 | I've heard kids complain in the past about how hard it is to stay on a diet at college dorms, and well.... it's true. I'm allowed a total of 19 meals per week. The good part: There's always tuna, hardboiled eggs, cottage cheese, salad, and usually a fresh meat. The bad part: There's always all you want to eat, and there's always bagels my secret weakness.... Anyway, i'm kinda pissed off, i'm eating too much, all lumped into 2-3 meals, timing is off, etc, and I've lost ALL of my definition. Rectifying the situation, so help me god, I will log every bite of food i eat into my little pocket sized notebook. I bought all types of canned chicken for in between meals, and damn it, the diet WILL go back on track. I will be damned if college is going to undermine all my hard work. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 214 | it gets easier when you get the hell out of the dorms and have you own apartment where you can prepare all of your food for the week on Sunday and just have it in tupperwares in the fridge. dorm food screwed me up pretty bad too...i made the best of it and went on a 3 year bulk ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 44 | Ya, I just blew my cutting pretty hard in Vegas for 3 nights. ![]() Just got to suck it up now though. "Ain't nothing to it but to do it". ![]() I find it's much easier to eat right when I spend a lot of time planning a diet that will fit perfectly into my day with the right macros and food choices. Then I eat it every weekday and on the weekend I relax a bit and eat what I want (but still clean for the most part).

| IronMass Vip | I lost weight in college because the food sucked. I've gained ever since I moved back home.

What I am hearing is that you have a situation where 19 meals per week are provided to you with plenty of food that fits within your situation. However, there are also bad foods provided. SO FREAKING WHAT MAN!?!? Buckle down that discipline belt and tell the bagels to go **** themselves. I know it is hard, but if it was easy it wouldn't be worth it. You have worked TOO DAMN HARD to let some college meal plan control your progress. Josh

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 113 | oh yeh, skel: a) get yourself a nice backpack b) get yourself a nice set of tupperwear c) get yourself some balls and steal the meals in between. I did this for two years. 1st year of my innitial cut and 1st (last year) for my bulk. It can be done. Get creative.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I also have a huge amount of respect for what you have accomplished but again it comes down to how bad you want it. Like DJ, I made some of my best gains in college. What does every college kid do, binge drink and eat shitty, ultimately getting fatter. I was the exact opposite. People thought i was so wierd to start off with but after school was out I was known as the guy to talk to if you wanna get ripped or bulk up haha. You kind of have to think along the lines of "by an means necessary". If someone looks wierd at you for munching on a chicken breast in class, use your 18inch are to crush them!!!!!!! lol ![]() |
