Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 177 | It is a book aboout health, and nutrition.... No I havn't read it... looks like another scam to me though. Like those books that claim stuff like "Common household product that is more effective than the most powerful antibiotics, that the phamasutical companies don't want you to know about" |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | lol its not though.. the guy isnt trying to sell you anything.. he provides you with a ton of information that all makes sense and if you look up any of the information in the book it is all true.. i am as sceptic as the next guy but it seems pretty legit to me |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | i havent finished reading the whole book yet i'm only halfway through... but one interesting thing they were able to do with people and mice is inject them with aflatoxin (a strong carcinogenic) and while they ran normal diet and exercise get cancer...they said standard was about 20% of the calories coming from casein protein.. then by limiting their casein protein intake (coming from milk and or food) to only 5% of the total calories they were able to get rid of the cancer.. they could do this as much as they wanted to turn it on and off.. and this wasnt in one instance.. this was done in a number of different studies some including thousands of people.. and not only did it affect the cancer but also cholesterol levels and blood pressure and a number of different bad side effects in a positive way... And they werent simply limiting calories.. they were running identical calorie levels.. they were even able to digest more calories and an equivalent amount of protein (just from plant or whole food origin and not animal or dairy origin) and recieve the same results.. there are tons of other interesting facts in the book as well.. also he clearly goes into a lot more detail than i did |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | no... what he discovered was basically that it created a good environment for it.. the way he put it was something like carcinogenics are the gun and a bad diet is what pulls the trigger.. animal based diets (casein in particular) promotes the carcinogenics to cause cancer.. so by taking out casein or limiting it to 5% or less of the total calories they were able to prevent cancer from growing or if they already had it then they could get rid of it... i'm not great at explaining it.. what i was hoping for was someone else to have read it and be able to give their opinion on it.. |
