| Pro Stature | Ok..i've been thinking about doing this but not sure how high and low i should go. Going back though my Fitday log i see that my highest has been 1700 and my lowest was around 1100. I'm 5'2 and i weigh 122 pounds. My workouts are like this most weeks.. Monday-run 4-5 miles Tuesday-run 4 miles -- Chest/Tri/Abs Wed-run 7-8 miles Thurs-run 4-5 miles Fri-run 4 miles--Back/Bi/Abs Sat-off Sun -Legs/ Shoulder/abs Thanks... Vanessa |

For example, you could do a more gradual approach where your cals start at the beginning of the week at 1100 and then increase them gradually up to 1700 in the middle of the week and then back down again to 1100 to end the week and then repeat. Or, you can be totally random. Or, you can go for 3-5 days all very low cals at 1100 and then for 2 days consecutively eat at 1700 cals. The benefits of cycling are many compared to prolonged periods of low cal eating. Or high cal eating for that matter. Myself, I usually eat less on non workout days as a rule.
