Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Hello I wanted to switch from my roughly 200 mg caffeine from coffee pre workout to Green tea . No particular reason but heard Green tea is better for you and figured 200 mg of caffeine is 200 mg caffeine regardless of where it comes from. Has anyone found Green tea not as potent as coffee even with same caffeine content ? I know Green tea not known for "kick like coffee but again figured caffeine is caffeine . Thanks |

Lol yes or skip the tea altogether but what I meant was 200 mg from coffee as oppossed to 200 mg from Green tea would it be same 'kick" ? I ask because from what I understand Green tea has "calming effects". Either way guess will pick some up and try it . thanks | |

| New Member | There may be some other "stuff" in coffee, that works synergistically with the natural caffeine content.
