Default caffeine & creatine

guys help me out on this
is there any relation btw caffeine & creatine?
i've heard people say that when consuming creatine one should totally give up caffeine
is it true?
moreover for how long should a person have creatine continously
ie like one month or two months...etc

Never heard of a problem between caffeine and creatine and there shouldn't be that I can think of. As far as length of time the standard train of thought is 6 weeks on 2 off but there are many other theories on what is best. I personally go longer but I only take it during my workouts and no pre load phase.

i believe the relation may have to do with hydration. Caffeine is a well known diuretic, and creatine requires an abundance of water. Like most problems, as long as you are smart and keep hydrated, you'll be fine.

you can cycle creatine on for 'up to four months' as they say. I personally cycle mine for 3-4 months or so. Then I take a month or so off.

Hard nutrition sells a creatine that has 120mg of caffeine in it anyhow, so I'm sure those no reason against having both at the same time.

Nothing will happen; its just more effective if you cycle it. Yes you will want to take it even on your off days. & like everyone else has said... there shouldnt be any negative effects from consuming caffeine while you're using creatine.

I think coffee is what was suggested may interfere with the creatine. There might be some truth to it.

I have found that Kre-Alkylyn for me is the most effective creatine.. I had taken mono, and CEE before trying it, and it without a doubt it works better for me... Kre-Alkylyn is just buffered creatine, and the name would suggest it is in a Alkyne base.. Coffee is very acidic, and I imagine it would offset the the alkylyn.

Being in the Alkylyn base prevents the creatine fron turning into creatinine. I would think the Coffe would really effect mono, and Kre as well, but mono to an even greater degree...
