Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | Here is my life story. I started weightlifing seriously in January of '05. Made great gains and gained about 20lbs (newbie gains). Then, I started cutting around July. Bad idea...didn't lose much fat and just ended up wasting a month or two. Then decided to bulk, but just ate more food not keeping track of what I was eating (didn't eat enough)...gained barely anything. Then, tried cutting again...same results as before. Then tried bulking again, same results. My training program is great and I workout at 100%. But, the diet has always been my weak link. So, I have decided to give another shot at bulking, but do it in a smart way. I am tracking my calories in Fitday. Below is a link to my Fitday log. You can switch the date at the top to see my past logs. http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...wner=aaronmamo I am weighing in at about 157lbs (not much above what I weighed last June, go figure )I plan on eating a diet with about 1.5-2g of protein per lb or bodyweight with a 40:40:20 carb/pro/fat ratio of my 3200-3500 calories. I'm hoping for a 1lb per week weight gain. Hopefully tracking my diet to make sure I am getting enough calories at the correct ratio will pay off. I plan on eating my favorite BB foods: MILK!!!!!!:crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1: PB&J Brown rice Chicken boobs mmmmm Tuna Oatmeal Natural peanut butter Yummy protein bars (I love eBay for these...cheap!!) I need to add some olive oil. I'll buy some the next time I am at the store Any comments or tips would be greatly appreciated ! |
