Default Bloat from milk?

I drink a lot of milk and have been trying to get as ripped as i can while also bulking and i'm thinking the amount of milk i drink may get in the way? like for those of you that are going to compete to you cut dairy products down quite a bit a week or two before a competition? just wondering how much dairy food you guys eat?

IMO I would cut out milk when cutting and I know some will disagree with this. SOme people it does bloat them up a tad. I have also seen people cut while taking it dairy etc. I guess you have to know your body and how you respond to different foods etc. Try without it and see what happens

I know people who are cutting for a contest drop dairy completely. I also know that a lot of people complain that dairy causes face bloat.

Lactose is a stubborn sugar that is highly hydrophylic (water bearing).. Cutting out dairy allows for the skin to thin out more, this reveals the grainy hard muscle underneath, if of course you're hard..

Cutting while bulking makes no sense, pick one and do it well.. If you must, reduce intake to skim or 1%.. It all comes down to calories being burned to keep fat at bay while preserving muscle.. Even enhanced you stand the chance of losing muscle while cutting, no way around it..

It's not about intolerance to lactose, the retention comes no matter what.. Skim you won't get much since it's so diluted.. I guarantee if anyone stopped drinking milk for 14 days, you'd notice a great fluctuation in weight, mainly water..

All in moderation... yeah, it does cause bloat to some degree (and many people seem to report this). However, micellar casein (80% of milk) is a damn good protein and should definitely be embraced for its unique properties. If you really wanted, you could shell out some extra money for some casein powder, but I guess it just comes down to what works for you.

Im giving this a try after reading some stuff on another forum.
7 days in and Im definitely less bloated (gut) Im amazed to say the least, because I an one of the many who considers themselves very well tolerant of lactose/milk and have never had a problem (or so I thought)

The bloat from milk isn't lactose intolerance.. LI is when you get gassy and uncomfortable after drinking milk.. I'm not exactly sure if it's lactose uptake (carbs are hydrophyllic) but it could be the case..
