Thumbs down Bagel, cream cheese... how much we don't know about nutrition.

40/40/20, you can never have the bagel, or the cream cheese
Berardi, you can have the bagel, and the cream cheese, just never at the same time
CKD, you can have the bagel, and the cream cheese, but never on the same day
The cut diet, you can have the bagel and the cream cheese, but they have to be together.

You're right. I prefer having my bagel and cream cheese together as well

Its just silly how conflicting views are. It all comes down to -expend more than you consume-. Because obviously... all of the preceding diet tactics work. It shows just how little we as a people know about nutrition. If we knew half a damn there would be such conflicting advice from multiple respected nutritionists.

it has a lot to do with one's personal genetics, activity levels, and will power as well.

Hahaha, I'm still not sold on the "never take protein with carbs" cut diet thing.

I just eat smaller portions of carbs while cutting, and stop eating carbs completly after 7pm. this combined with cardio. for me works like a charm...

You'd have to add nova salmon/lox.

I think current goals and activity levels will decide on the best route. Some people who have high intensity jobs/lifestyles can't low carb it like a desk jockey could. It doesn't mean they don't work though. I've lost weight using various methods that worked but they wouldn't work when I changed what my goal was. I do feel the pain though Skel
