Default Always hungry on the Cut Diet?

So I'm a few days into the Cut Diet, getting about 3k kcals a day, and I'm freaking starving. No matter how much spinach, broccoli, and asparagus I eat I'm always hungry and it's really pissing me off. I'm due for my carb meal tonight but I don't know how much that will impact me overall.

I guess this is a question for you guys who have tried this...is being hungry all the time standard? I'm about 210 right now so 3k kcals is a pretty standard amount of food for me, but my stomach is perpetually growling. Wtf.

if its a lower carb diet, its going to take a few weeks to adapt to it before you stop being starving

I'm never hungry when I cut because I eat tons of protein, veggies, and nuts.

Keeps me bloated actually.

See here's the thing...on a daily basis I'm eating:

Meal 1

6 egg whites
1 whole egg
2 oz grilled chicken
1.33 cup steamed spinach
2 tbsp peanut butter or 18 almonds or 3 oz avocado
6.5 oz PEELED ruby red grapefruit – splenda packets can be used
to sweeten if desired
42g protein, 25g carbohydrates, 20g fat

Meal 2
6 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)
24 almonds
2 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 16 oz steamed asparagus
42g protein, 20g carbohydrates, 20g fat

Meal 3
6 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)
1.5 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 12 oz steamed asparagus
4 oz avocado or 24 almonds
42g protein, 15g carbohydrates, 20g fat

Meal 4
6 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)
1.5 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 12 oz steamed asparagus
4 oz avocado or 24 almonds
42g protein, 15g carbohydrates, 20g fat

Meal 5
6 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)+ 5g GlutaForm
24 almonds
1.5 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 12 oz steamed asparagus
42g protein, 15g carbohydrates, 20g fat

Meal 6
7 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)
1 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 8 oz steamed asparagus
2 oz avocado + 6 almonds or 3 oz avocado or 18 almonds
6.5 oz PEELED ruby red grapefruit
– splenda packets can be used to sweeten if desired
49g protein, 25g carbohydrates, 15g fat

Meal 7

7 oz grilled chicken breast or halibut/tilapia or Sirloin fillet or
Tuna (albacore packed/canned in water)
1.5 cup steamed Broccoli or green beans or 12 oz steamed asparagus
3 oz avocado or 18 almonds or 2 oz avocado + 6 almonds
49g protein, 15g carbohydrates, 15g fat

Protein – 308g = 1232
Carbohydrates (not including Carbohydrate night) – 130g = 520
Fat – 130g = 1170

Total Calories – 2922 Calories NON-carbohydrate night
Total Calories – 3521 Calories – Carbohydrate nights

Thats like...10+ cups of veggies a day and I'm still starving. I have the distinct impression that I'm going to turn green and have spinach start coming out of my ears soon. I'm a huge fan of all the avocado I get to eat, given that they're CHEAP here in Cali and super tasty.

I've been on cut diet for 17 weeks, it's kept me full at 2k calories...and I can eat a shitload...wow you must have the apetite of a dinosaur. Maybe for the first meal, add more egg whites and remove the chicken? Don't really know what else to tell you that hasn't been said.

I hope you don't have a roundworm

When I was on the Cut Diet, I never felt 'starving' at any time. I wasn't on it for long, tho, before I said, "Screw it - where's my oats?"

Good luck. Hope you tame that tiger in your tank!

I just plowed through the carb meal with no problems. The peanut butter was a bit rough with no water though.

make each meal last at least 20minutes. By that time, your body starts to realize "hey I'm full."

and yeah, when I did a CKD type diet, I was full at 2000kcal a day. And I'm a big guy who loves his carbs!

I think Xile Ultra is running this in conjunction with some albuterol; from what I've heard it works really well.

haha I hear ya, the sweet potato then the peanut butter is the ultimate finisher...not only the no water, but it's no water for a total of about 2 hours...

No water 45 mins before
no water during the meal that should last about 30 mins
and 45 mins after...

but I still love the carb load, I got it tonight!

I managed to not have water for 45 mins before, but I'm not gonna lie...I sipped on water starting about 10 minutes after I finished my carb meal. Didn't bloat me at all so I plan on continuing to do it. I think the big thing is to avoid water when you eat the oatmeal because that definitely will bloat the crap out of you.

Yea, even with 2k calories...I didn't have much strength loss. It was pretty minimal, and it only happened the first 2 weeks. Except grip, that went to hell...strange really.

Yep, the cut diet works really well...I can't say too much about the albuterol yet...

The first week with albuterol sped up my loss back to 2lbs a week, rather than 1lb, and also some of my lifts are coming back up. 1 1/2 weeks I lost a total of 4lbs, I'll wait until Monday to give it my final opinion. I really hope it can get me down to 190 by then!

The thing is though, if I lost 4lbs, and got stronger...it could have brought some muscle back too...so the scale isn't really the best way, I do notice some more leanness, bicep veins are more prominent during workouts, arms are harder and the biceps are finally starting to get some cuts. My gut seemed to have shrunk further, and I got a vein slightly sticking out below the abs.

But man, if albuterol works well for you like you, and you combine it with the cut diet, you'll see some awesome results!
