Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I am a new member to IM who has spent the majority of my time thus far reading ongoing posts. I lifted all through high school while I played rugby - but slacked off for 2 years while attending school (22 Credits, 35 hour a week job, plus GF eats up your time). I completed school in July and have gotten back to lifting in the last 2 months. I stuck to the college diet religiously - alcohol, fast food, soda, and more alcohol. So 2 years and 40 pounds later - Here I am. I got back into the gym about 2 months ago - and have loved every minute of it. I totally forgot how much I enjoyed lifting!! I am getting married in Sept. so I am on a mission to get back into shape for summer and our wedding. Stats right now - Height - 6'2" Weight - 240ish Waist - 37" BF% - not sure - should probably get tested though. I have been in a bulking stage for the last 2 months - trying to gain as muscle mass back as I can before I start trimming down. So far I have been doing well - eating good - and lifting big. My weights have only gone up and continue to do so!! I have made enormous gains in my bench and shoulder workouts - pushing more weight now then I did after 2 years of lifting in high school. I retained some mass over the last 2 years - but it had a nice little coat of fat over the top. So I plan to continue trying to gain till about late april/early may then start a cut cycle till sept. This will give me plenty of time to get weight off the right way and keep some of my newly regained mass. Hopeful end results- Weight - 210ish. Waist - 32" BF% - not sure - as low as possible tho!! i'll keep you updated on how my gains go and when I start my cut cycle. I won't be posting much in the mean-time- I'll spend more time reading and getting the info I need. |
