Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | Hello Everyone, I just wanted to pop on in and introduce myself. I am an active member of another board (bb.com) and have written a few articles for them (under this name). I am looking to start a log to track my progress (on both websites) and am looking to contribute something positive to these forums. I will be getting back into the flow in a few weeks, as my grandfather is currently in the hospital. Please keep an eye out for my log, if you are interested. Thanks everyone! Information Age:16 (17 in July) Weight: 205 Lifting Experience: 3 1/2 years Goals: 1.) To compete in powerlifting/bodybuilding competition 2.) Increase major lifts by 10-15% by January 3.) Drop to 6% BF at 215 (by age 18) Hopefully, these are realistic goals and hopefully, you guys can help me reach them. Thank you all for reading and for any posts you may make. |

Good articles bro, I wondered who the new guy on the TOTW week was Even more impressive since you are only 16 I'm another TOTW/WOTW writer, who is on a break from it.. time consuming isn't it? I think your goals look reasonable, however I personally wouldn't train towards say powerlifting and a bf % goal at the same time. Pick one and run with it. Once you complete one then you can go for the other. This is a nice forum, a bit more laid back than bb.com.. not as busy though.. Cheers, Stonecoldtruth

I would probably go with powerlifting first, as I love to push my limits and love always lifting progressively heavier weights. What can I say? I'm addicted to squatting. I do enjoy this forum, as it is more laid back, like you said. I just wish there was more traffic. Not like rush hour traffic in LA, i.e. bodybuilding.com (that leads to a lot of repetitive posts and "in-fighting among board members), but more of a Montana rush hour, where the traffic is increased but not too much. Sorry for the odd comparison. I am quite tired and it is way past my bed time. I am pretty much dead. :boink: It's time to get some sleep. | |
