hahah well HI ya'll! i was wondering where some of you sneaky devils went to....thanks brenda for leading me here!

i guess i can try to keep up with one more journal huh? maybe ill start one in here too....what do ya think?

for those of you who do NOT know me....im pammie! im 36 years old and started lifting in November 2003. back then i weighed 300lbs!! i had had 3 kiddos and gained weight after each one....never watched what i ate...never worled out, but expected my body to remain in decent shape. guess what? it didnt! i looked horrible! one day i really took a good look at myself and realized that no one else could change what i saw in the mirror except me. i did a little research and started on atkins immediately. it worked wonders for me! i lost a lot of weight FAST! i also discovered how awesome lifting was and started doing BFL. after 3 consectutive 12 week challenges i was hooked on lifting! i soon realized, however, that eating atkins style wasnt gonna cut it for me and lifting, so i changed things up last year around christmas time. i reintroduced carbs into my life and gained back 30lbs FAST! as scarey as this was, i didnt freak too bad, and just kept at it...kept tweaking and learning what works for me...and now i am one clean eating machine! heheheheee....im actually a carb cycler at this point. i am building serious muscle and feeling very confident that one of these days i will again start to lose weight once my bod is ready! i will NEVER give up lifting! i am absolutely in love with it and the way it makes me feel!!
i am a member of quite a few forums...one of which i met brenda at, one of which i met dawg at...and a few of you others i also know! i got a pm from brenda telling me about this site ( thanks doll)...so i mozied on over and here i am!
