| IronMass Vip | My myspace (www.myspace.com/jlkrocks) has the most pics, but you need to be a member to view them. My OkCupid has some good ones too, and I don't think you need a membership. www.okcupid.com/profile?u=JLKauffman But be warned, I am a really, really big nerd.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | If you can bring it and fit it, bring a few dumbbells or if you only have a barbell, bring it and just do some basic exercises like squats, lunges, curls, standind shoulder press etc.. and do that with light weight while your bored so you are doing something and not breaking a sweat (to much)..

| IronMass Vip | Well, lets just say I'd have to look a hell of a lot better to even consider being seen in a bikini.

Maybe dad would spring for a year membership at your local gym rather than weight watchers. It sounds like you have an idea of what to eat, you just need to make time for it or sneak it in somewhere throughout the day. That just leaves the working out part. I think if you could find the time to go to a gym you would start to really like it and look forward to that time of the day. For me, I look forward to going to the gym like most people look forward to their favorite hour-long program on TV. It’s just that my favorite hour-long program has an iPod and a dumbbell rack in the staring role. Good luck to you and hope to see you around here in the future.

| IronMass Vip | Ya, I don't see dad shelling out any $$$ for a gym membership. Besides, I'm severely uncomfortable with gyms, I've used those 'free 30 day we're going to bully you into buying a membership' deals before, I'm just way too uncomfortable working out in front of people. I just got done pumping up my ab ball, hell, that was a workout in itself. I'm also really uncomfortable eating in front of people, and my dad is the guy that will say "What, you're eating again?" and make a big deal out of it, when it's like, a piece of toast and you had a small bowl of cereal like, 1.5 hours earlier. This forum is really friendly, I've had an awesome time so far. Anyway, I'm gonna go break in the new ab ball.

| IronMass Vip | Well, I love the ab ball, I don't think I've ever stretched my back/abs/obliques that much in my entire life. My lower back feels awesome. As far as the workout goes, I think I'm going to need another video for that, this one was more about stretching and breathing than working, although I did break a minor sweat. But, I can do that just running up and down the stairs a few times.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | overcoming your fear of working out in front of people would be a huge step in the right direction.. if you can tell us (if you know) why do you not like workin out in front of people?

Because I'm a perfectionist. I have to be able to do something flawlessly before I'll let anyone else see or hear me. I used to sing opera, and would cry during rehearsals if I messed something up. I rehearse before singing karioke. I'm afraid people would look at me and think "Aww, look at the chubby chick, I bet she thinks she's going to get buff". I don't go out to clubs or dance in public, either. Unless it's choriographed. I used to be in show choir and all the musicals and all that, and for anyone that thinks dancing is for wusses, you have to be really, really fit, and have endurance to be able to dance for 2 hours straight while singing. For a while there after I fractured my tailbone the first time, I was doing the 'Goddess Workout with Dolphina', because it was a bellydance for fitness video, hence, no groundwork. Well, after a week I actually saw myself in the mirror while doing it, and it really reminded me a lot of this: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/shakira-parody.html And hence, I do not do anything physical in public, because I'd look like a retard having a seizure.

| IronMass Vip | Today, while on my ab ball, I managed to roll backwards over my ponytail and get stuck for a moment. Then I felt like a retard. This might be to dangerous for me.
