Right now I'm bulking at 5'5", 56kg, 2700kcals average at about 35% pro, 45% carb, 20% fat tending towards more protein less fat usually. Have 2-3 cups of oatmeal daily, my main carb source. This sound okay? Oh yeah and any comments on my body would be great! Inc. guesstimated bf% pls! Cheers guys, look fwd to hanging around here. :eat: |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Yikes! 3 cups of oatmeal (uncooked) is a heck of a lot already! I do have rice for dinner, and fruits (on occasion) and fibrous veges to bump up the carb count. Not to mention the protein shakes (a carb + whey concentrate blend) I do about 300g+ carbs, 250g protein, 70g fat.. like yesterday. Ok I'll try upping it more (I like oats anyway!).. do remember I'm only 5'5" & 56kg so 2700kcals is a lot for a guy my size lol! Thanks for the encouragement & warm welcome! oats... :eat: |

Checked my weight today... and I actually went down from 56.55 to 56.45kg (that's 124.41 to 124.19lbs).. so I dropped weight. I really do find it all amazing the metabolism thing.. While I was cutting, my weight stayed around 55-56 and I was doing 4x 30mins cardio per wk, and only consuming 1650kcals on most days. Now this past week I have been averaging 2600+kcals, doing only 2x 25 minute cardio, and I have actually gone down! (note that I binged/cheated between my cut & bulk phases to bring the weight up before) Now that Ive experienced it all, I'm a true believer. Next time I cut: - no more fasted cardio - no more carb restriction at dinnertime (I had 1 cup of cooked brown rice at 8 or 9pm every day this week!) - always keep energy intake above 2000kcals |
