2 most important and basic areas you need to get down as a new lifter are a proper diet and an effective lifting program. I'd suggest reading the Nutrition stickies as well as the Execise and Training forums. Read up there and don't be shy to ask questions about anything you don't understand. Cheers ![]() | |

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | Welcome to the site bro, you'll like it here. Lots of nice, helpful people. I agree with DF, read the nutrition and training articles. Plenty of stuff to read there. Tell us a little more about yourself! What are your goals? Gain size, build up strength, cut down, etc?

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 215 | you've taken the first step in that you're seeking information and that in and of itself is huge. So many people just wander into the gym and do some curls and bench presses, but you'll be able to learn things about training and nutrition that will never even dawn on those people. The stickies are great, as always. There are a ton of really smart folks here so its hard to say whose posts you should really look for; if something is confusing to you feel free to post about it and we can clarify it for you. Welcome!
