Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | First I want to thank my man GameDayDawg for introducing me to IronMass! There is a LOT of good knowledge here. I'll start by explaning what I'm looking for: I have a skinny frame. Well...maybe just a thin frame. Years of sitting on my ass in front of computer caught up to me so I got back into sports, weight trainging and running. Last year I went from 205 down to 185lbs and have been here for a year. I dont eat beef, pork, or poultry but I'm not a complete vegetarian. I still eat seafood, eggs and whey protein. My biggest enemy - Junk Food and Pasta! Right now I'm 190 and 185lb when hungry. I'm looking to lose maybe 10% body fat. I have a digital caliper but never get the same results twice. I'm a rock solid 180lbs of lean mass and about 10lbs of water and flab. I'm taking cell-tech right now for stregnth and endurance during workouts and I used GAKIC for about two weeks but I dont like it. I have used Nitro-tech to bulk up but I have about 5lbs sitting in the pantry collecting dust. Any and all feedback, help, advise, etc is appreciated. Thanks! Most important - stregnth and endurance, next is body fat loss - next is chest mass, but not much. //

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | Hi Darius welcome to IronMass. Great to have you here with us and always nice to have a friend of GDD's join up. Good news that you still eat seafood, egg's, and whey it's more then enough to fuel your muscle growth. As far as bodyfat % I think you have some confusion going on, what bf% does your digi cals say you are now? |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | Wassup Darius...!!!! True Story - I was in the mall and decyded to hit GNC to kill some tyme by laughin' at their products and prices and I found thys dude in the corner, curled up in a ball, sucking his thumb and rocking back & forth, mumbling incoherently... I looked closer and he was grasping some Muscle-Tech products as if they were the last lyfe preserver on the Titanic... As I got closer, I laughed and said, "Man, that stuff's lame, there's much better products available at cheaper prices too!!" ... and that's when I could figure out what he was saying .. over & over & over & over... "But the guys in the ads wore labcoats." I extended my hand and said.. "Yeah, they always do... Come with me to IronMASS and discover the light!!!" ... and that's how we have our newest member.. Welcome to IronMASS bro!!!! Peace..~G

Welcome to Iron Mass... Good idea... pics will probably be the best way for us to give you an idea of your bodyfat. The results with calipers can vary wildly. Also just because you have 40 lbs of fat doesn't mean you should lose all 40 lbs. 10% bodyfat is pretty lean, and most people will have visable 6 pack at that weight. whch means if you got down to 160-165 you would be pretty lean. | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | Yeah, and it's a big difference in just losing weight & losing bodyfat... but I'm hoping you already knew that... During one of my bulking cycles... I didn't really gain much weight, but I changed my body composition a lot... meaning, I may have gained 10 pounds of lean muscle but lost 10 pounds of fat.. I'd styll weigh the same... but I'd look different... more muscle & less fat... Get it?? Peace..~G

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Welcome to IronMass bro! As said by a few people, it's a pleasure to have another friend of GDD's here. And you have the perfect attitude for a new poster, you have a whole lot to learn, but you admit to this and come in with the motive of learning. Thats perfect, and with that kind of attitude I think you'll find yourself getting along just fine around these parts. Welcome to the family! And best of luck with the goals. If you have any questions about anything ironmass related, don't hesitate to send me a pm, if you have any problems with anything, etc. and I can see what I can do to address them or point you in the right direction/towards the right person to help. ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I finally took a minute to take a couple pics. These are from my cell phone but you can still get an idea of my bone structure and overall weight. I need to get rid of that spare tire and rip those abs. Any help and suggestions will help! ![]()
