What's this? I thought swimming burned a lot of calories since it uses every muscle in your body.

Default Re: [Week 37] What are the best summer activities to stay in shape?

Definitely biking for me. For starters, I love being out in the sun on my bike and riding around.

Benefits - Less stress on joints, knees, and shins than I would normally get from running.
Definitely a great cardio workout if you push yourself.
I feel that biking helps me with speed a bit too, just the work on the hammies I would guess, I'm not sure exactly why but I've always felt faster when I've been biking regularly.

I would have to say that full contact 5,000 (the childhood game with added bloodshed) is a great way to stay in shape and cope with mounting anger issues.
