Default [Week 28 Topic] - What are the best things to eat during the holidays?

Turkey, Gravy, Pumpkin Pie... Oh MY!

What foods should people eat, and what foods should people stay away from when choosing a holiday diet?

For instance I gained 5 pounds over thanksgiving break, but I promise it wasn't healthy turkey that did it to me... :bigthumbu Pass me the pumpkin pie!

That's about all I ate. Does it have the values of noodles? I ate a lot of those too.

I ate mounds of stuffing. It's my favorite. All I really ate was pounds of turkey and pounds of stuffing. I didn't care for anything else. More stuffing than turkey tho hehehe

I ate everything that was in front of me. Stuffing, turkey, pecan pie, sweet taters, etc. I ate a whole box of stuffing by myself

The left over turkey is currently being turned into turkey jerky....goooooooooood stuff.

Eat it all up, who said you have to survive through thanksgiving and holidays. Least that's just me, I don't know about the weight watchers people. I bet Skelooth ate at least 5 tubs of cottage cheese.

I ate everything I could get my hands on. Just consider thanksgiving-Christmas bulking for me cause that's the way I eat during the holidays. It's so fun to see the strength increase from all the eating I do

I take my own food.

Thanksgiving: Sweet potato, and I ate their turkey

I personally like to wing it on holidays...life is too short to miss out on a few yummy things! Its also really good incentive for me to stay on track knowing I have a holiday coming up where I can indulge and enjoy...PLUS these little feasts really boost Leptin levels! BONUS!

I did manage to eat some turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, devilled eggs and a few bites of choc whipped cream pie! YUM!

A few times a year you should allow yourself to eat as much as you want of whatever you want...on christmas day i will stuff myself silly with as much turkey, stuffing, potatoe, sausage, cake, wine, more wine and cake as i can. You only live once, and the holidays ARE ALL ABOUT laying around with your family/friends enjoying yourselves and each others company.

If I'm dieting I try to plan cheat days to fall on the holidays. If I'm not dieting....who cares?

I'm bulking right now so it's on! Thanksgiving was great, Christmas will be even better!

Fricking love the holiday grub.
