How can Iron Mass be improved for you as a member?

We could really use your input ladies and gents, the more you tell us, the better we can make your ironmass experience.

I love IronMass, its by far way better then bb.com's forum... it seems its for the most part all level headed people rather then the ignorant and eilite that you'll find way to often on the other site.

The only downfall to IronMass compaired to the other forum, is that there are less threads, posts, replies... but at least the ones that are, usualy are quality.

The board's chatroom, it isnt smooth.. having it constantly refresh, and bounce around is >< There has to be a better javascript chatroom out there that can replace that :P

Otherwise, I say the forum is great, and its got a whole lot of members that would be willing to participate to make it better if asked I'm sure

I know I would.

One thing that would be nice if you could change it, would be to make it a shorter URL to access the forums. I check these when I am at work and so seeing a huge picture of Jay Cutler on my screen could make for some odd stares here at work. I am not asking for you to change the front, that is certainly your business. However, it would be nice if there was a URL like forums.ironmass.com that we could directly go to.

I know you hate my opinion on improvements from sites...but what the hell.

1. Few more forums (maybe sports forum later would be great)
2. 1-2 background choices, little variety.
3. More powerlifting/strongman guys.
4. Better main page.

Those are all I care about, nothing too spectacualr, just some suggestions.

I know a problem is the lack of people on this site. People have to remember that back in April when I started on the site we had a total of about 100 members. Since April we have grown 10 fold. That is very fast growth. We are just 7-8 months old, so give us a few more months, and hopefully we will have good contributing members who will share their ideas more. I think this is the best site on the net, and that is why I am so proud in being a moderator for it. I would love to have a sports forum soon, and if we can get a lot of people to start posting about sports in the misc section, maybe we will make one.

I just added a sports forum (under post your pictures) and a sports specific training forum (sub-forum of training).
