If you are happy with yourself think about what will happen if you do not stick to lifting. I also look back at pictures that show me before I lost weight or started lifting, that is great modivation too for me. But, the mirror does not lie! That is the best modivation I can find! ![]() But, in the end this is what I do to get that modivation back, "GET YOUR ASS UP AND DO IT NOW!!". And I do. ![]() Brenda

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 15 | I find motivation comes in two parts, one part is the pain of what happens when you don't do something, and the other part is the reward that you get if you do. It's like, some days you are trying to stay out of hell, while other days you are trying to get into heaven. (If you understand the metaphor.) Basically, you can imagine how ridiculous you will be if you don't do the work, and you can imagine how awesome you can be if you do the work. Both positive and negative reinforcement has it's place is seems. Some days require discipline, other days you get to enjoy inspiration. Sometimes you get both at the same time. What motivates me? When I think back at the worst times in my life, and how much better it would have been if I was at my best. When I look in the mirror and see the shame of not tapping into my potential, or when I find inspiration in seeing just how great I might become if I can tap into my full potential. Also, I like some bible stories and I watch DBZ. This place aint bad either for getting a little extra motivation (although sometimes it's all too easy to get caught up in playing around too much. )

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | I just have to thumb through the pages of Muscular Development or Flex and I am ready to pound some medal. Other than that I just look at myself in the mirror and establish hard to reach goals which make me work harder.

| Soldier In Progress | I'll usually take a day or two off and my whole life feels screwed up, so I hit the gym when I feel shit isn't going right anymore. Best motivation for me is laziness I guess.
