Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Xtreme Formulation Ultra Peptide So for some time I have read about XF being a good tasting, slow digesting protein, but my first experience with casein products was ON 100% caesin, which while tasting ok, mixed like crap, stuck up my blender, etc. I have always been a big fan of Black Star Labs, but all I can say is UP was beyond my expectations Taste: Easily a 10/10. I have chocolate and mixed it in both water and milk. In water it tastest like a melted candy bar, in milk it tastest like a milkshake. You know when you take some heavy duty hershey chocolate syrup with rich vanilla ice cream? yeah, its like that and helathy too ![]() [b]Mixability: Again 10/10. Like I said above, I expected something like pure casein that clumped, stuck to the spoon, etc. In both milk and water, I used around 8 oz of water and a spoon and with no more than half a dozen stirs, all the powder was dissolved and it staid dissolved, even when i let it sit around as i was drinking it slowly (no need to slam something that tastest this good) Value/Profile: 10/10. Yes, this is a little pricier than whey, but this is not whey, it is Micellar Casein and Whey Isolate. It is a fantastic nighttime protein or to be used throughout the day as a staple for an mrp. While it may be a little more expensive, based on the quality of ingredients and taste, it is well worth it. |
