Default warriors Review of VPX Zero Impact Bars

I'm not a very big protein bar fan b/c for 1)They're expensive and 2)Most of them don't have any better of a nutritional profile than a Snickers bar. I've read a lot of reviews on the VPX Zero Impact bars and their profile is really what brought me to try these. Excellent protein profile with no soy and a good source of fats along with a nice amount of calories for someone like me that's bulking. I picked up one Choco. Peanut Butter and one Pumpkin Supreme over the weekend.

Choco. Peanut Butter:

Taste: Very nice choco taste with a hint of peanut butter. I figured it would be loaded down with the peanut butter flavor but it wasn't. Even though Choco. Peanut Butter isnt my favorite of flavors I still found this quite enjoyable. Overall Rating: 8/10

Texture: The texture from the Choco Peanut Butter was good. Most protein bars are very chewy and it seems like it takes forever to swallow one bite but that wasn't the case with the Choco. Peanut Butter flavor. The only complaint I can really say about the texture is that it's a little on the dry side but still a lot better than any of the other protein bars I've tasted over the past few years. Overall Rating: 9/10

Pumpkin Supreme:

Taste: I'm a huge fan of pumpkin flavored products. Pumpkin pie is one of my favorite pies to eat. I knew the Pumpkin Supreme wasn't going to taste like a home made pumpkin pie but if it even resembled the taste of one than I knew I was going to like it. I can say I like the Pumpkin Supreme a lot better than I did the Choco. Peanut Butter. Has a nice hint of cinnamon with each bite. VPX def. hit the nail on the head with the Pumpkin Supreme flavor. Overall Rating: 9.5/10

Texture: Much like the Choco. Peanut Butter except for the fact that the Pumpkin Supreme was a lot more moist and seemed to go down a little easier. Very nice texture on both bars though. Overall Rating: 9.5/10(b/c the Pumpkin was more moist)

Overall I was pleased with the VPX Zero Impact bars and are by far the best two bars I've tasted so far. These are about the closest things you're going to get to a candy bar taste and I even think they taste better than most candy bars out there IMO and they def. have a lot better nutritional profile for sure. Good work VPX!

interesting and informative...we have some of these at the store that I've been scared to try, but now I'll give them a shot and see if I agree with you.

with the chocolate bars, some boxes are really dry whereas others are just as moist as the pumpkin. also, the dry bars had much more peanut butter flavor than the moist ones.
