Default Myozene

I started using this new protein powder last week so I thought since it truly is revolutionary in its protein contents that I would give it a thorough review. I'm probably one of the biggest supp skeptics you'll find on any bb forum.

The New Science of Muscle-Building Nutrition
"New MyoZene represents an entirely new approach to post-workout mass-building technology. Unlike existing formulas that can take hours to shuttle crucial aminos from stomach to bloodstream to muscle tissue, MyoZene is so swift-acting and anabolically active it bypasses digestion almost entirely and begins supporting muscle recovery and growth within minutes of ingestion.

This breakthrough formulation is centered around a unique and specialized pharmaceutical protein, which is ultra-hydrolyzed via complex enzymatic processing to yield super-low-molecular-weight peptides which are so rapidly and efficiently absorbed that they actually bypass the standard digestion process and go directly into the bloodstream. At the same time, MyoZene contains a powerful matrix of insulinotropic factors that stimulate a large surge in anabolic insulin.

MyoZene is specifically engineered to speed aminos to muscle tissue in the narrow-but-crucial anabolic window that opens immediately after intense exercise. This unprecedented rapid action is of utmost importance because recent research indicates that up to 90% of muscle growth occurs within a very brief interval after intense exercise. The vast majority of post-workout formulas simply take too long to work their way through the digestive process and into the blood stream, thus missing their maximal anabolic window of opportunity entirely. When consumed immediately following intense resistance training, this revolutionary formula is designed to induce a powerful anabolic cascade, including a substantial surge of anabolic insulin combined with rapid amino acid uptake into muscle tissue for greatly accelerated muscle synthesis.

Ultimately, this precise combination of insulin and rapidly absorbed ultra-hydrolyzed proteins delivers a massive flood of aminos to muscle cells more rapidly than ever, resulting in the ultimate synergy for promoting faster and more complete muscle recovery, along with dramatic muscular growth.

If building muscle is your primary goal, you simply cannot find a more efficient and effective nutritional tool than this extraordinary new breakthrough in performance-enhancement technology. In fact, no other product available can match the amazing mass-building power of revolutionary new MyoZene--the ultimate muscle protein synthesizer. "

Many of you may know that whey hydrolysates are the fastest acting proteins available for pwo nutrition. To my knowledge Myozene is the only product on the market today that contains such a high amount of whey hydrolysates.

It's early in my trial so all I can comment on so far is the terrible taste of Myozene. It tastes like medicine.

It's also not cheap. Which is to be expected since producing such high quality whey hydrolysates is most likely a more expensive process.

I do expect this to be a very good supplement. It's what I would call a basic supp and not some new fangled overhyped pill that is supposed top turn everyone who takes it into the next Mr. O.

It's legit.

Very similar, but I like the carb complex better in Myozene and it would sound as if Myozene has a higher quality whey hydrolysate as well. That is probably why the Surge is cheaper.

42 sugars is in the Surge. Myozene actually has 30 sugars and another 30 grams of maltodextrin. It's the correct type of carbs for pwo nutrition and in case I didn't mention before, I'll only be consuming the Myozene after each workout.

I think Myozene sucks.
Get:
20-30g Hydrolyzed Whey Protein (AST VP2, ATW Hydro, Giant)
40-60g Waxy Maize Starch aka Vitargo (on True Protein)
5-10g L-Leucine
Phenylalanine?

Vitargo is also hydrolyzed, so it will be super spike.

Myozene is 25g WPH, 60g Maltodextrin

MyoZene Insulinotropic /Anabolic Proprietary Blend 18g
6g L-Leucine
4g Creatine Monohydrate
4g L-Glutamine
4g L-Taurine

or something like that.

Vitargo is better then Maltodextrin because it is hydrolyzed, therefore predigested like WPH.

You need to take a closer look at the ingredients son. I think you missed something/s.

Go learn what "Ultra high D.H." means. Not all hydrolysates are created equal.

It contains pharmaceutical grade dextrose, spray-dried and enzymatically converted maltodextrin. Not just "Maltodextrin" as you posted. Again, not all created equal.

The 60 grams of carbs is a preferred and perfectly blended mix of 50/50 dextrose and maltodextrin.

Well, I finished my first tub last Friday. I put on a few pounds and strength is doing pretty good too. I think the weight is mostly water retention, but that's a good thing for me right now.
