Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 20 | MAN Presents: Clout Delivers the Goods... Big-Time! MAN Clout claims to: Stimulate Explosive Muscular Power and Strength Unlike Anything Ever Created Support ATP Formation and Replenishment! Build Lean Muscle Mass Boost Muscle Carnosine Donate Acetyl Groups To Maximize Energy Production Enhances Oxygen Delivery and Uptake Supports Endurance and Recovery Elevate Muscle-buffering Capacity Delay the Signal That Triggers Muscle Loss Increase Time to Exhaustion Enhance Glycogen Storage and Glucose Uptake Decrease Free Radical Formation But does MAN deliver? Energy and Endurance: 9/10 As noted in my log, the endurance provided by MAN Clout was its trump card. I did not feel anything for the first 2 weeks, but after 2 weeks of supplementation, there was a big difference in my ability to push through extra reps during exercise. This was no placebo effect. I have always pushed myself to failure through rest paused sets at the highest intensity, and that barrier that I feel I crossed after every set was put a little higher on Clout. The increased endurance was most notable during my widowmakers (HEAVY 20-rep squats). I started at 190lbs for 20 reps and ended up at 210lbs for 20 reps ass to grass. Though these kinds of gains are expected on a DC program, making that increase from 190lbs to 210lbs felt much easier than my past progression from 135lbs to 190lbs. The same goes for my other quad exercises I used the widowmaker on, the leg press and hack squat. The increased endurance was felt most on those exercises that needed the most endurance to begin with. Power and Strength Increases: 8/10 As far as power and strength increases go, the endurance made me feel stronger on each exercise. Each rep felt more explosive and focus was dead on. Some of the major improvements are: Quads: Squats (ASS TO GRASS) 265 x 6 increased to 305 x 4 190 x 20 increased to 210 x 20 Chest: Hammer Strength Bench Press 185 x 9,4,1 rp increased to 205 x 9,3,2 rp Chest: Incline Bench Press 170 x 8,3,2 rp increased to 185 x 9,2,2 rp Back Thickness: Deadlift 290 x 9 increased to 330 x 6 245 x 12 increased to 275 x 12 Back Thickness: T-Bar Rows 145 x 13 increased to 160 x 12 As you can see, my gains were pretty awesome. I have increased on EVERY lift as well. DC training and diet forces these gains, but as said before, Clout made the progress a bit easier. Recovery: 9/10 One of the things I have mentioned earlier was that I only blast for about 6 weeks then take a 1.5 week cruise in order to make sure I don't overtrain. At the end of my 6 week blast, I usually start to feel burnt out and I can tell that if I continue, I will become overtrained. Right now, after my 6 weeks of blasting, I do not feel burnt out at all! I feel like I can go another week or two of blasting without being overtrained. This is an awesome effect I attribute to MAN Clout. I will definitely be trying out an 8 week blast sometime in the near future to see if I can make the 8 weeks without overtraining. But right now, I am feeling very good and taking this cruise as a precaution. Another aspect of recovery is the DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). DOMS was noticeably decreased during my time on Clout. Especially after a hard squat day, I usually am not able to move very well for 3-4 days, but after 2-3 days I felt much better. Lean Mass Gains: 8/10 I started at 173lbs and I ended up at 179lbs this morning. An overall weight gain of 6lbs in 6 weeks. No real difference in how much mass I would normally gain, as how I am progressing as of now. But still a very nice weight gain. Flavor: 8/10 Wow pretty nice flavoring. Good job MAN! Tastes kind of like watermelon/bubblegum but not so sweet. I will definately have no problems but actually I'll enjoy drinking this. Solubility: 9/10 It mixed very well and almost instantly. White powder collected on the bottom, but it's easily dispersed with a quick mix of the shaker cup. If you let it sit, the powder will collect again on the bottom. OVERALL: 8.8/10 So Does MAN Clout Live Up To Its Claims? YES. MAN has developed a solid product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great creatine + beta alanine combination. It provided me with great strength gains and endurance paired with solid lean mass gains. Complete Log Located Here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...wpost&t=926468 |
