Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Well, I finally got around to using this stuff today and it's the last of the free stuff I got from Universal. Animal Nitro G You understand the importance of essential amino acids (EAAs) and their anabolic impact on lifting. You know EAAs are more efficient than non-essential amino acids (NEAAs) and any protein powders like whey. That's why you use Animal Nitro packs before and after lifting. Well, for those of you who want the same superior EAA supplement but don't want extra pills, now there's Animal Nitro G. Animal Nitro G has the same exact EAA blend (Human Muscle Protein Complex) as found in regular Animal Nitro. The difference is, we've also added a proven amount of simple carbs--35g to be exact. What you get is a complete EAA/carb supplement that comes in a delicious grape flavored drink mix. All you have to do is rip open a packet, mix the contents into your shaker bottle, shake and drink. It’s that easy. That’s all you have to do to experience the anabolic potential that comes from the potent combo of essential aminos and simple carbs. ![]() ![]() Comments: This tastes better than Xtend, but that is probably due to the dextrose in the Nitro G. The mixability was also very good. I took this post-workout today, and I don't normally consume simple carbs in my diet, even post-workout. Of course I'm not going to get the effects of the arginine taking it after my workout, but I was taking it mainly for the BCAAs and the simple carbs. IMO it is a good product post-workout if you like to take in simple carbs, but I would not recommend taking it any other time because of this. It contains the same amount of Leucine as Xtend, and slightly higher amounts of Isoleucine and Valine. Not a bad product, but it's not something I'm looking for in my diet (as stated above because of the simple carbs). They are not currently offering a free sample of this product, but any time I have requested a sample of Universal products before they have sent a packet of Animal Nitro G in the package. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | One of my personal favorites. In order to fight off catabolism early, I drink 2 packs of Nitro G with a scoop of Storm while I train. I've never been carb sensitive and I'm just looking to add size... So the way I see it, the dextrose simply helps to replace the glycogen that is depleted with each set. Plus those simple carbs help to enhance the pump. |
