Default johnsbod's Dymatize Elite Whey, Rich Chocolate Review

Dymatize Elite Whey-Rich Chocolate
Everyone knows that Dymatize has a reputation for our great tasting high quality protein. The time has finally come for Dymatize to produce a high quality whey protein in a 5 pound size for incredible value.

The Elite 5 pounder is the perfect blend of whey protein concentrates, ion-exchange whey protein isolates, and whey peptides. Elite has no added sugar, fructose, salt, or carbohydrates. And Elite now contains a proprietary digestive enzyme blend including Aminogen® to help amplify absorption, and to make Elite even more agreeable to lactose intolerent individuals. With protein being the cornerstone of muscle recovery and growth, what better way to save a few bucks and build your physique than with the Elite 5 pounder from Dymatize?

Comments: I got a few samples of some Dymatize products in the mail, including some of their protein powders, and couldn't wait to use them. I seem to remember their proteins tasting much better than the Rich Chocolate did. It had a sort of metallic taste to it and left a strange aftertaste. For mixability I'd give it a 7 out of 10 and for taste I'd give it a 4. Even Optimum Nutrition's chocolate tastes much better in my opinion. Either my memory has failed me or their protein flavoring has changed lately for the worse. I'll post my thoughts on the vanilla after I try it.

Good review John. I'm not a big fan of chocolate flavored proteins for this reason. I have never tried Dymatize's chocolate or vanilla flavors but after hearing that their chocolate flavor has that metallic taste I will stay away from it. I love Dymatize's Butter Creme Toffee, Orange Dreamsicle and especially the Pina Colada though. The Green Apple was ok but not something I could get myself to buy again.

Thanks for the review, I like most of Dymatize's proteins, but have never tried their chocolate or vanilla...at least I know now to stay away from it.

Thanks for the comments guys. I don't think ON's chocolate is that bad, but the Dymatize was horrible. I'm planning on trying the vanilla today after my workout and will report on the taste.

Personally, I hated DYmatize's pina colada, I think that that goes to show that taste is very subjective. I just wish some of these companies would let you sample before you committed to buying a big tub. I know I am going to try ON's chocolate, but will buy the smallest container possible jus in case.

Send them an email asking for a sample. I do that all the time, and the Dymatize stuff I got was all samples.

I didn't realise you got a sample, I was going to say add some BSL flavouring. You can buy cheap ass tasting chocolate whey and add some BSL and voila, delicious!
