Default ErgoPharm GF-Pro Green Apple Review

I recently seen a thread over on bb.com where a member said he contacted ErgoPharm for free samples of their GF-Pro, so I figured I'd give it a try as well. To my surprise they sent me 8 sample packets: 2 packets of Green Apple, 2 packets of Orange Cream, 2 packets of Cherry Blast and 2 packets of Raspberry Lemonade.

Green Apple Review:

Initial Serving:

I added 1 packet (1 scoop) to 8 oz of water along with a few ice cubes and mixed it up in a shaker cup.

Mixibility: 7/10

Foamy, but I guess this is typical of an isolate. A little bit of clumping on this one as well, but actually not that bad compared to others.

Taste: 6/10

I was hoping this would be on the tart or sour side, but it wasnt. The taste is ok, it's kind of hard to explain this one. It kind of reminded me of the skin taste of a green apple, but not really like the juice from an apple. It wasn't what I expected at all. The aftertaste really ruins it for me on this one though. Very bad aftertaste that I didn't like at all. I've tried Dymatize's Green Apple before and I actually like that alot better compared to GF-Pro's Green Apple, although it is a concentrate/isolate blend.

Price: 6/10

BB.com sells GF-Pro for $27.49 for a 2lb container which is a bit on the high side considering you could go with a 5lb jug of Dymatize's Green Apple for $25.69. Hopefully Supplement Kings will be picking up Dymatize soon.
