Default Energized Xpand

:boink1:

On bodybuilding.com I came across "Energized Xpand" by Dymatize and was wondering if anybody has used it. Somebody should start a log on this soon.

I've used XPAND 3 times, it is a great product. But as long as they are the same price, I would recommend it!

I currently use it and think it pretty good. Yes the energized version. It's a good product for the value. I am a cheap bastard though. I drink 1 serving pre-workout and generic mono after. Don't expect a ton of energy, in fact I don't notice it at all. But I have a very high tolerence for stims.

Thats cool! Go ahead and write up a review.

Heres mine:
*Its expensive for a creatine product. Bulk creatine much cheaper. Approx. 1$ a serving. Recommended 2 serv. per day. 38$ for 40 servings.

*Taste is MISERABLE 2 out of 10 (even mixed in Gatorade, actually ruins Gatorade taste too - lol). This was the worse part. I had trouble getting it down. Regular Xpand tastes pretty darn good it has a sweet tart taste 9 out of 10.

*I got great pumps are the same as the regular product (which ived used on/off for 6months) IF your a believer in NO products it certainly gives you pumps whch never translated into strength gains IMO.

*I often got a bad headache or felt nauseous (almost everytime).

*The main difference is the Energized Matrix 1600mg (basic stims: L-tyrosine (mostly responsible for taste issue), caffeine, n-acetyl cysteine, l-phenylalanine, vanadyl sulfate) - I felt overstimulated, Jittery, and nauseous. I wouldnt take it past 2-3pm. It kept me up one night (2 serv.) and I normally drink LOTS of coffee and use lots of stims EC stack during the day which never bothers me sleeping.

Overall - I couldn't finish it because of the taste and nauseau. I thought the pumps were good but its a PRICEY creatine solution. The Engerized matrix was not as good as a EC stack or some other products which I feel can be done cheaper.

Review is on the to do list but very low. Lemme piggyback your answers with my experience.

1. Expense. I will use BB.com as a price ref but I typically order from other sources.
Energized Expand - 40 servings - $35.95
NO-Xplode - 40 servings - $38.95
Amped ECN - 45 servings - $42.99

As you can see the price is lowest.

2. Taste - I think grape taste pretty good but the fruit punch definately is not good but tolerable. Would never recommend the fruit punch flavor. It does lack to fizzing that you get in Amped and No-Xplode which I actually like.

3. Pumps - honestly not sure. I jumped from Met-RX Amped to this and felt no difference but when I began Amped I did feel an increase. Not sure how to word this bud pumps are well typical pumps. I have increased vascularity using NO products. To me NO seems to be more cosmetic but I have been known to be wrong.

4. Headache/Nausea/Jitters - Never for me. I would suspect someone sensitive to stims would get nausea and headache is probably from NO. Jitters never happed for me.

Summary: I feel it is a good priced pre-workout energy/creatine product compared to other similar products. Yes there is always cheaper ways to get creatine, no, stims but I personally like the concept of a all in one product so I dont have to have even more crap in my stash.
I am on my 2nd tub and am happy with the product. I enjoyed the taste of Met-RX Amped much better. Will I buy it again? probably.

I have on ly used the energized but it has zero fizz. It is not like Met-RX Amped or NO-Xplode in the fizz factor. If you don't want stims I Designer Supps Xceed gets rave reviews. It is caffeine free and the energy comes form Glucuronolactone and L-Taurine so no crashing.
Mixing is good. I put it in a gatorade bottle and shake the hell out of it. You might get some settling but a shake will get it out. It is not gritty. Kinda like crappy Kool-Aid
