Default EAS Race Recovery Review

EAS Race Recovery
http://register.eas.com/OA_HTML/ibeC...&section=10943

Race Recovery is designed to combat excess free radical activity produced by intense exercsie with a solid dose of antioxidants. Glutamine may help minimize muscle breakdown and support immune function, allowing efficient muscular recuperation to take place.

Taste: This product came in orange, it was not very tastey. I would give it about a 5.5/10. It was tollerable, but "good" never crossed my mind. It wasn't really chalky, but was not refreshing at all. Plus the aftertaste was not good either.

Mixability: As large as one dose was, with just a couple shakes of my shaker bottle with 17 oz. of water, all the powder disolved and staid dissolved the entire time, 10/10

Effects: This product contains whey based glutamin, bcaas and a slew of vitamins. Recovery was ok after this, but nothing spectacular 7/10

Value: This is a fairly pricey product at 18 doses for $50. I have no doubt that something comperable can be composed for less in bulk. Plus, I think some of the elements, including BCAAs are underdosed. 6/10

Overall: It is nice to have all your post workout nutrition in one product, however, I think the price and taste of this has a lot to be desired and the dosing needs to be tweaked.

that's just too many miles for me

I just wrapped up a sprint triathlon last sun. I was trainign with MAN Body Octane and Orotine and all I can say is that it was leaps and bounds beyond either of these EAS products. This is the second triathlon I have done and used the same training program as a baseline for testing with and without the supps.

I have 100g of Citrulline Malate that I forgot to use for race training. (Ingredient in Body Octane). I really wish I would have tried it out and see if it worked.

30 miles isn't too many! You will get there if you like to ride.

$50 for a mere 18 doses is too much $$$!
