Ok i need a good swift kick in the butt!!! i am back in this and am starting today! i am slacked off really bad but no damage has been done. i easily maintain myself luckily!!! I have been going for runs every other day but thats about it!!! So i need to re- start my log, workout regime, and healthy life style again!

I need a favor for you guys though!! please don't be shy to get on my case if i am not posting and slacking!! i need the motivation!!! Thanks!!

today- Monday...

I did cardio and abs...
Ran/walk 2 miles
did a bunch of sit ups/ crunches
did a set of push ups as well...

A set of push ups? What happened to the other two sets

You will do great. Even though you haven't been eating healthy you've still been conscious of everything you've been eating. Just get in the gym and lift some weights. You need to get those muscles conditioned.

@ op...glad to hear you're back on track. Life can definitely get hectic sometimes and its always better to take a break from fitness and come back to it than just abandon it altogether.

Glad to see you're back. With long competitions like IMPC it's very easy to slack a bit. I am glad you are back in this thing and gonna kick some fawkin ass! Now kick skelly boy in the jimmy and get his head straight. It's time for both of ya to kick some ass!

If you think about training, and dread it you will fail. You have to think about it positivly.. Think about the positive results you'll get rather than the working out part when going to the gym. Before you know it you will be hooked, and not want to miss days...

Thank u everyone for your tid bits of advice and encouragement!!! I ahvent been lifting or at the gym yet with school ending..

But did 30 minutes of cardio y-day. (skel even did cardio with me too... no worries he is back as well!!)

Irish, we can help each other out. I've kind of slacked off a bit, going to the gym 1-2 days a week and not keeping up with my log, so we can check each other and make sure we're making it to the gym and updating our logs.

today's work out...

i feel like i am not as strong and had to do less wieght on some but it has been awhile..

1 mile cardio..

incline db press, 3 sets of 12
incline db fly, 3 sets of 12
seated db shoulder press, 2 sets of 12
side lateral db raise, 2 sets of 12
seated tricep extension, 3 sets of 10

tons of sit ups, including lower and sides with weights

I've found that if it's been a long time since I last worked a body part, I start out with a little bit less weight and then work up. Usually just to give that body part a chance to get used to working again! Great job getting back into it!

Chris and I haven't done legs in awhile; we just never seem to get to the gym on Friday nights. I know that when we finally get there, (this Friday!!) I'm going to be sore for a week. AND my house has stairs!

Sunday did some cardio.. Skell and i went out on a paddle boat for a couple hours!

Today i ran/jogged and walked for an hour.. tomorrow i should be able to move more and be back at the gym to lift..!!

three and a half miles on the elliptical
leg extension, 3 sets, 12 reps, @ 55lbs
leg press 3 x 12 @ 110lbs
squats 3 x 12 @ 55lbs
torso revolution 3 x 12 @ 90lbs
