| IronMass Donator | We have hidden the scale for 2 weeks from this past Saturday - hopefully that will keep us from obsessing so much over the 'weight'. I've doubled my cardio, and I'm eating more tuna and chicken again. We'll see how this works out. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 35 | It *should* work out great... You guys are showing some killer determination in the face of difficulty with your approach. Even working with a great coach who is watching and helping hasn't seemed to help you guys catch a break lately, Putting the scale away may be one of the best things you can do, especially if you stress about the numbers on the dial -- cortisol is bad, right? LOL... Seriously, tho -- major kudos on your determination. I hope things get back on track for you two, maybe the change of seasons will help, too. ![]()

| IronMass Donator | Thanks for the support man, that's why I love this place! So the last couple of days I've had to teach some classes at work and it has screwed up my schedule a little bit - so to make up for it I've been walking around our neighborhood for 30 minutes before I went into work (about 1.5 miles), then I have been going up the stairs at work (did 20 floors the first night before I thought I would die, then 21.5 the next night, and I just got back from making it to 30!! - I do think I might die), and I have gone to a local park and done about 2.5 miles in 45 minutes on some trails. I'll do that on the way home. Michael told me he'll have a new diet for me by monday, so that will be nice - but for now I'm just overdoing it with the cardio to try and get SOME movement out of the scale and body. The downside is that if this does work and I can actually see a difference, then I'll probably go a little crazy with the cardio for the next couple of months to help cut me down. It's certainly overdoing it, but maybe it will have some effect. |

| IronMass Donator | Got our new workouts/diets from EME a few days ago - I have to admit that I've been slipping a bit lately, mostly out of frustration that after 2 years of cutting I haven't changed at all in the last 4 months. It gets a bit old real quick when you diet and exercise and NOTHING changes at all. I love the new workout plan and diet. We've bumped my calories up a bit and we've moved my workouts - so we'll see how they work out. |

| IronMass Donator | Fell the hell off the wagon for the past couple of weeks. Back up to 250 on the nose - not as pissed off as I thought I'd be about it though, I really enjoyed the food. Not much chance of placing in the IMPC but I want to see it through to fruition. I will be doing the last 5 weeks of madness to try and get SOMETHING accomplished, so we'll see how that works out. Had a great workout today, felt good and strong, motivation was up, music was pumping - just generally felt awesome. My triceps are worthless right now I punished them so hard. |
