Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Let the contest prep begin!!! Time to get mad shredded!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fun facts about madman911:
Diet Normal days: 220 g protein, 50 g fats, 170 g carbs Refeed days: 200g protein, 45 g fats, 270 g carbs I will religiously come within 3-5 g of these target macros. All my meals are pre-planned, all foods are weighed, and I know the exact macro content of everything I put in my belly. Training I follow dual factor principles and hit each body part (with the exception of arms) 2X per week. My sessions are high volume. I de-load as necessary, usually every 3-4 weeks. Cardio is limited for now to just a few sessions per week; some days are low intensity, some days I’ll do HIIT. Supps and daily dose Scivation Sesamin, 3 caps Scivation Xtend, 25 g Primaforce Creaform (creatine mono), 5 g Fish oil, 4 caps Glucosamine, 1000 mg ALR Industries Venom Hyperdrive 3.0, 1 cap ALR Industries Primed Ultra, 4 caps I’ll no doubt switch up my thermos and fat burners as I go along. I’ve used Dialene 4 previously, with good results, so that’ll definitely make an appearance. I also want to give Thermolife’s Dicana a shot.

![]() How hardcore am I when it comes to sticking with a prep plan? I'm glad you asked. This morning, I weighed out all of my meals to be consumed during work and I had the containers perched on top of my jug of Xtend. I leave the kitchen to go brush my teeth and as I'm putting toothpaste on the brush, I hear a commotion in the kitchen. I run in there to find that one of my jackass cats had knocked all of my food onto the floor!!! The tops of the containers had popped off. Some of the food was in the containers still, but at least 25% of was on the floor. I didn't have time to weigh out new meals, the battery on my food scale was dieing anyway, so what's a madman to do? He scoops the food up off the floor and plans to eat it anyway. That's right, today I'm eating floor food. I'm a bit of a germphobe too, so this is totally against my nature. But this is contest prep, and the ONLY thing that matters is that I hit my macros with precision, even if I have to eat a little extra bacteria and some cat hair to get it done. This was a test for me and I'm glad to say that my mind is in full on prep mode -- no deviation under any situation.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | First week progress Starting weight: 176.5 End weight:171.5 I lost 1.5 inches on my gut; arm and leg measurements remain stable. I drop a lot of water weight at the beginning of a cut, as most people do. My target weight loss is 1lb per week and I fully expect to settle into that rate of weight loss in another week or so. My first week of progress has me motivated to keep rockin' the prep as hard as I can. :geek:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | I have a cold... this sucks. My throat is really sore and my sinuses are dripping like a faucet, a booger faucet. No stopping the plan though. I will be in the gym tonight for a couple of hours, doing what needs to be done, and spreading my illness. I don't want to get people sick, but this is contest prep and if I have to take out some innocent bystanders with my snot shrapnel, so be it.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | After my last post, I got much sicker. It went into my chest, I had a painful cough, and a flu-like achiness through my whole body. As much as I hate taking time off, I had to shut down the training and rest as much as possible. I have taken a week off from the gym. Today I am feeling considerably better, still very congested, but I am read to hit the gym again tonight. Not sure I'll be hitting it with a vengeance, but I'm gonna move some shit and try to get in some light cardio so long as it doesn't send me into a coughing fit. Diet has remained on point during my illness and my weight is still 171.5 Time to start kicking ass again... head full of snot be damned. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Can't a madman catch a break? How am I supposed to kick ass when my body is betraying me at every turn? Last week I was finally back in the gym after getting over my cold. Now I have a sharp pain in the ribs on my left side and it has been getting worse all day. It was a mild nuisance last night at bed time and now it actually has me slightly worried. I don't think it is internal organ related, as it feels more surface oriented, and doesn't hurt when I'm not moving... it seems musculoskeletal. There's no way I'm going to lift until it starts reducing in severity. I didn't receive any kind of blow to the ribs that could account for it, and I was out of the gym all weekend. It is a pain with no obvious cause. On the bright side, I'm down 2 lbs from last week and leaning up dramatically. With 18 weeks of prep left, I should be very ripped in another 6-8 weeks at this pace. Comparing myself at the same bodyweight last year, I can fully appreciate the gains I made over this last bulk and it has me feeling pretty good. Every body part has made some improvement. After this IMPC, I'm going to bulk for a year to 18 months, and bust my ass to finally get big now that I know how to bulk effectively without getting too fat. I'm taking my monthly submission pics tonight, hopefully I can flex without causing myself too much suffering.
