Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Thanks DF and Pammie for the !!I am SO done with !! Time for lots of and : ! Happy Friday! I have gotten to bed at a reasonable hour the last 2 nights and boy what a difference sleep makes!! I feel GREAT! This morning got in a great workout even though I have to be to work early for a meeting. AM WO ![]() Triceps, 30 min Nailed the tris this morning and it felt so good! Haven't worked them in a while and unfortunately it shows - so I worked them extra hard! Did lying extensions, overhead extensions, crossbody, and kickbacks at varied speeds with DBs and a bonus burn with a resistance band at the end. Cardio, Incline treadmill, 10%, ~ 3.5 - 4.2 speed, 46:38 min, 3 miles, 469 cals Burn baby burn! Lots of fat burning here, kept myself from running until the end and sprinted up the incline for a few minutes to hit 3 miles...i couldn't help myself! Last night I got about half way through the dreaded toy sorting and organizing task. Might take the kids to the gym tonight while MrDM is bowling or may finish the toys if they aren't up for going. We are getting some new furniture delivered tommorrow and depending on the timing hope to have a garage sale. MrDM is nice enough to run it while I go to my disco spin class, I am really looking forward to it! Next week I will be commuting to an out of town training class every day so I will need to be very organized and disciplined but I plan to WO every morning. After that I will be starting a new WO and diet plan that should fit our current schedule a bit better. My goal will be Mon - Fri AM workouts and off on weekends unless time allows or makeup. I will also still plan to go to PM cardio class at least once a week. Oh and BTW - I am down 2 lb+ so far this week! ![]() Have a great weekend everyone!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weekend Didn't go to my spin class on Sat Friday evening the esophagitis issues that I thought were gone resurfaced in a nasty way and I spent alot of the night hugging the toilet I was pretty dehydrated and still in pain at class time and decided it would be best not to go but I was very disappointed. But on the bright side, I did get in 4 of the 5 days I wanted to WO in last week and I did great on my diet, even over the weekend! Now, if I could just get the darn water in! We postponed the garage sale until next weekend but we did get our new furniture and I absolutely LOVE my bedroom set! We've never actually had a matching set before in all these years. It is modern looking with clean lines and the room is now clutter free! We are finally getting to the end of the boxes and making a place for everything in the house. My son is having a pool party here in a couple weeks for his birthday so we hope to be fully settled in before then and finish some projects around the house.Monday's WO/Diet Cardio, ~50 min - LoMax DVD, Low impact, high intensity step with focus on legs and glutes. Got a great sweat going on this one. Since i am commuting over 1 hr each way to a training class this week I was short on time so didn;t get weights in today but I felt the need for a longer cardio after being off the weekend. Hope to lift tommorrow and then a shorter cardio. Packed my lunch and ate it sitting nect to everyone eating take-out food in class and eating all the junk they put out for snacks all day - I was proud of myself! Oh and I even passed up CHOCOLATE cake with CHOCOLATE frosting at work on Friday!! I must be getting my dedication back!Hope everyone has a great week! I have no internet at class and it is a very busy week so I may not be online much.

I am SO not used to that, no wonder people get road rage! *note: New Linkin Park CD is good for lifting AND road rage! lol * At least I wasn't In the accidents, I felt bad for the people both wrecks looked pretty bad. I let the stress get to me a little and veered form my diet :o They had bagels and I caved! But I did WO twice today and calling it a night now so I can get up by 4 am to get a WO in tommorrow. Hopeeveryone is having a good week and happy early hump day! ![]() Today's WOs AM - Back Supersets with Wide Grip Pulldowns and Reverse Narrow Grip Pulldowns, felt good! PM - Incline Treadmill, 10%, 4.0 - 4.5 speed, a few sprints up to 7.5 speed, ~48 min, 3.39 miles, 549 cals This felt SO great after sitting in the car and class all day! Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Pammie - My thoughts exactly! But we are BACK now and will be better than ever!!! Congrats on getting back on track, let's keep it going strong!! We can do it! ************************* Wednesday AM - "I am Gilad and this morning I am going to sqeeze your butt and lift it up" lol well, I was desparate, feelign ADHD and had only 30 min , so Iactually did Bodies In Motion because it was on TV and something different. *I know, I know* Combo of cardio, leg and glute exercises and some abs. Looked like it was circa 1980s the girls had on Jane Fonda-esqe leotards with thongs! haha, so funny! Did get a decent WO.PM - Incline Treadmill (10%), with a vengance! 47:09 min, 500 cals (+ extra for DBs), 3.28 miles Put on my camo "Failure is no an option" tee, cranked up the music and tried something new I saw on Biggest Loser. I did incline walking with intervals using DBs to do shoulder, bi and some tri exercises. Did 4.0 - 5.0 spd w/o DBs and 3.6-4.0 spd with them. WOW, this really got my HR rate up. Used light weights and did sets to failure. This was an awesome WO! Willpower test of the day: Passed up brownies WITH frosting! Blocked out smells of Checkers burger and fries coming from classmate next to me at lunch. Road rage test of the day: 3.5 hrs commuting..ahh! Got lost in the AM trying a different way, then hit yet another accident with bumper to bumper 5 miles from the class location. Rrrr. Water - OVER 2 gallons, I think this is a PR!!! *note: this is bad idea when commuting and stuck in traffic! lol* Thursday AM - Cardio, Incline Treadmill (10%), 45:08 min, 514 cals, 3.01 miles, 4 - 4.3 spd Tommorrow's willpower test: The class is having PIZZA for lunch Friday! Ughh!!!IS IT FRIDAY YET??????!!!!!!!! PS Inspiration!! MrDM sent me this and had to share, this is amazing...check out the before/after photo slideshow: Incredible Shrinking Couple Loses 580 lbs Incredible shrinking couple loses 580 pounds - CNN.com

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Had some family stuff going on so friday was an unscheduled OFF day. Sat/sun regular OFF days. Didn't get in a makeup WO over the weekend but happy I got 4 out of 5 days in again this week. Training class is over and the garage sale is done with all the excess clutter being donated to charity. So relieved to have that done and to get back to a normal work/life schedule, it was tough to be gone so long every day and it was really great to have family time this weekend and get a little sun. New WO Plan New plan starts tommorrow! My #1 goal is: BE CONSISTENT! I need to get my WOs in M-F, drink my water and stick to my diet. I also will start up measurements again monthly. My routine has been revamped to fit my available time (about 45-60 min in AM) and diet tweaked some to accomodate. I am still doing 1 body part per day except arms. Lots of supersetting with weights first, then cardio. Cardio will be mostly incline treadmill and done just about daily. I plan to continue to go to cardio class in PM at least 1x a week - anything beyond that is 'extra' and only if time allows. I have always had a problem with consistency and even though it feels like I am not going to be doing as much, I know I will get better results doing it consistently than planning to do too much and doig sporadic WOs. I am excited and hoep to have some progress to share soon! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | :mango: AM WO Chest Superset/Abs Felt really great to complete everything planned for my WO today! Started on the lighterside to ensure I could complete all sets/reps with the weight surprised that I did really great even though I have been inconsistent onweights for some time now. I will move up in weight on these next week. Did my decline crunches without weights due to nagging pain/possible injury in the lower abs. Will try 20-25 lbs next week. Cardio, Incline treadmill, 4-4.5 speed, 30 min, 358 cals PM WO Planning to go to Zumba class tonight, 60 min Happy Monday All! :geek:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | DF - My abs were very strong before surgery and after I was completely healed, however, when I originally had an issue I had a sharp pain and tearing sensation and it seemed to be near the incision location on the right side in my lower abs. I think it was during a deadlift. After that, it's nagged me sometimes during simple things like folding up the treadmill or sometimes when doing SLDLs or BO BB rows, basically anytime I am lifting something from off the ground. I am wondering if I tore something and it never completely healed or if possibly there was a leftover deep stitch I tore. When it is not bothering me I can lift fine. So short answer is, I am not sure, it could be related or I just hurt myself. Maybe I am just getting old...lol *************** Day 1 PM Workout Went to Zumba last night and had a blast! Except there was a reporter at the gym doing a story on "the Zumba craze" interviewing us and she wanted to take PICTURES! Needless to say, I opted out of that part! There is a Master class on Sat the 18th to roll out an all new routine so I am looking forward to it. It is kind of like Jazzercise in the way that they choreograph to the songs, so you get used to knowing what goes with what song and then they change it up and add new ones in over time.Another thing i forgot...yesterday, I walk into work to put my lunch away in the fridge and on the table are: CRISPY KREME CHOCOLATE DONUT HOLES!!! Then later someone put out giant homemade cupcakes with lotsof frosting! I had neither! Funny thing is, I didn't even want them! (ok maybe I wanted one donut hole :p )***************** Day 2, Week 1 Weight: Started at 168.9, down to 166.4 this AM. Bye, bye water bloat! ![]() Hope to get measurements tonight. Tried to do them myself but just doesn't work, I need MrDM to help me. Back superset/Abs Great back Wo with abs between supersets. Got a decent amount of weight on and stayed in the lower end of the rep range. Will work my way back up! Cardio, Incline Treadmill Intervals, 20 min, 219 cals, 1.37 miles, 3.8 - 5.0 speed Used DBs and sprints to get the HR up on the high end. Great sweat! Meeting tonight at my sons school, hope to start catching up with log reading and PMs now that things are settling a bit. Still working some projects on the house to get ready for my sons birthday and my mom visiting. The perfect scale...I need one of these! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | DF - Good point, I bet it could be that. Describes the feeling pretty well, that's for sure. ******** Got more sleep last night than in several nights (about 7 compared to 4-5) but had a hard time getting going all morning Regardless, I got a great WO in this morning anyway and am so happy that I am back on track and 100% on plan! I could see the outline of my abs this morning and it really motivated me to keep going until I can actually SEE them! I am sure it will take longer than November but I am going to do my best between now and then. I badly want to reach my original goal of 150 lbs that I set three looong years ago. Enough rambling...on to the workout!Wednesday AM Weight: 166.4 [ - 3.6 from start] Will be interesting to see what my net loss is after the weekend, i am sure this is mostly water. High calorie day is Friday. But I am doing the happy dance anyway! ![]() Shoulder Superset with Decline Crunches Between Sets Definitely got my shoulders burning and my HR up! abs are really feeling it today. Did them weighted but only did about 15 lbs. Upping slowly to make sure I don't tweak the injured/hurting area. I am also not used to working abs daily...didn't know you could have DOMS in the abs so bad! when i am laughing I am wincing at the same time! lol Incline treadmill, 25:42 min, 3.5-4.0 speed, 1.56 miles, 209 cals Started feeling kind of pukey toward the end and out of time so ended a few minutes early. I woke up late and took my supps a little different as far as timing and I think they kicked in all at once. After I ate I was fine. Quote of the Day: Happiness Read a rather inspirational/motivational article in the newspaper at work and thought it was worth sharing some excerpts from it. The main point: Don't worry, be happy, and enjoy life! ![]() "Have you made a personal commitment to be happy in spite of whatever life hands you?....We all experience days when nothing goes right.....You can allow it to dominate your life...or move on....There are too many things over which you have no control, and the only thing you can do is to stop allowing them to control you.....The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes thier way. So, treasure every moment you have and treasure it more because it was spent with family and friends or loved ones. You can't tell what will happen tommorrow. Stop waiting until you go back to school, until you have kids, until you lose 10 lbs, until the kids leave the house.....or until you die to be happy.....Life is too short, enjoy what you have today." Photo of the Day: Liftoff!...from the closet..lol Found my boys inside the closed, dark, toy closet doing a launch countdown with backpacks and helmets on the other day...too funny! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | DF - Defnitely! lol *********** Thursday - Day 4, Week 1 Had another bout with the stupid esophagitis last night and this morning, but got my WO in tonight so still on track with 4/4 days - yay! Weight: 163.2 [-5.7 from start] - this could be from dehydration, may go back up(note: weight was actually 165.4 yesterday, typed it wrong) Bis/Tris/Abs Did a new preacher curl superset and triceps superset with medicine ball abs in between sets. I haven't hit the tris good in a long time and really felt them. I am not setting any PRs here but I definitely pushed for the max reps on every set and HR was up. Abs were SCREAMING tonight!Incline treadmill intervals 21:42 min, 245 cals, 1.5 miles, speed 3.8 - 5.5, 10% incline (max) Supersoaking sweat on this tonight, felt great! I only wish I had a treadmill that had a higher incline! Did run on the intervals to get the HR up enough. We saw a few used really nice ellipticals with crossramp incline like at the gym but they are just too much, even used. Tommorrow's agenda... Legs! Haven't had an actual leg day in way too long..should be painful...but fun! I might try to go to Bootcamp Class in the PM if time/kids allow.
