Default I'm Back!

Since this is not a Disney review thread...lol...I will try to keep it short. Basically, I am back and the the vacation was a blast! Disney and the Resort were awesome and I must say that the check-in staff hooked us up big-time!! We got a free upgrade to a 16th floor room with a beautiful view of the fireworks both at Epcot and MGM from our window. If you ever go to a hotel in the Starwood brand, be sure to join thier "preferred guest" program, it is free and it really rocks! Of course the kids had a complete blast, got to meet lots of characters and see all 4 parks. No, FNF, Tigger did NOT grab my ass nor did I grab his!..lol...but I did get a big wet kiss from Pluto and a kiss on the hand from Dale :p LOL Unfortunately I didn't make it to the gym because we were gone almost all day and evening every day. There is no "me" in Disney - I was lucky to get the bathroom to myself to shower! LOL But I did do ALOT of walking...and sweating! Tried to eat healthy most of the time but I did eat quite a few non-healthy things - although I did avoid the Epcot Int'l area Time to get back on track now and hopefully I am not setback too far from everything going on lately.

Default EME Plan - Week 9, Day 2, 6/13/06 Tuesday

Diet/Supps/Sides:

Low carbing today. Back on supps. Stayed off during vacation as I was on several meds plus lack of time. Stim-X/Xceed/Excell pre-WO this AM. Not sure if it was waiting too long after taking put my breakfast too far from the dose of Stim-X, or just because I haven't taken in a couple weeks, but I got extremely nauseaus post-WO. Usually eating cures it but this time it put me over the edge and I actually "lost" what I had eaten of my breakfast, my pre-WO meal and supps. Ewww. :o That has never happened before so I am going to blame it on me, but I won't be taking any more of it today for sure.

Training:

Cardio - IMAX2 Advanced Step Interval DVD - 6" Step - 60 min - Motto for today was "Bring on the Pain!" and I did! This is one tough workout and I was SO happy to get back at it this morning and feel the fat burning off! Not having done it in a while it was extra challenging but I completed every last darn sumo squat, ski jump and airborne plie squat!! Excellent workout! I want to do it again later!

Weights - Later

Other:

Glad to be back!! I certainly have my work cut out for me, but I plan to get back on track and even better than pre-vacation! Still not feeling 100% but I am SO over it, I refuse to let it interfere any more!! I've had some rest and now it's time to suck it up and push forward!! I've got fat waiting to be burned!!

Got a barbell and some more weight (will be adding to it over next couple weeks). Now I can do more at home when I can't get to the gym.

Thanks Pammie! It is starting to go away so that makes me very happy! And you are right, most important thing is a great time with the family.

EDIT: Cals low today due to some missed food, low appetite due to naseau but tried to eat what I could and keep macros in line. From here on out implementing a small diet tweak and hope to see weight/BF reductions for these remaining 4 weeks.


Training:

EDIT:Weights - Back/Bis/Calves and a little Abs - Very good considering I had been off. Almost picked up where I left off but went down in weight on a couple things to make sure I kept good form. Didn't feel very strong today so I was pleased overall. Very happy to go up 20 lbs on calves! : D

Default EME Plan - End of Week 8/Start Week 9 BodyFat & Weight Progress Charts

Used weight and BF after vacation (today) as end of week since no weights taken on vacation. Of course, not happy with weight but it is going down already which is great. VERY happy to see the BF almost back down to record low! It may be a fluke but made me feel good anyway!

Wow, thanks so much 97 for the kind words and compliments It is great that you are supportive of your wife and hopefullly she will be ready to change and come to you when that time comes. I have definitely learned that until you reach that point where you are ready to make the commitment do it for yourself, it is very hard to be successful. This and other boards filled with people who are doing just that and are so supportive of each other is very inspiring to me to keep it going. Default EME Plan - Week 9, Day 3, 6/14/06 Wednesday

Weight:
AM - 168.2
PM - 167.6 - DOWN again, 2.6 lbs since yesterday!

Diet/Supps/Sides:

Back on the Basic Cuts today Pre-WO and later in day. Extra energy and no unpleasant sides, loving it! Back on all other supps and happy with them all!



Training:

Cardio - Step, Jump & Pump DVD - 8" Step and various weights - 60 min - EXCELLENT! Loved getting some high-impact in for a change vs. Step, really got me sweating! I do think the Step and the weight intervals on some of the DVDs have helped with my legs, especially when I had to miss leg workouts a couple times.

Abs/Core - CoreMax1 DVD - 30 min - Threw this in for a little extra attention on my stubborn Torso and because I felt I needed to burn some energy later in the day. Hmmm...I will have to ask EME if it is ok for me to do some extra cardio once in a while if I can squeeze it in. Besides exta fat burning, twice a day cardio would really make me feel hardcore..LOL..

Weights - OFF (scheduled) - But got my fix in the intervals during cardio - felt so good to work the legs with weights and really felt the burn in the quads and calves! Plus, I got to use my shiny new barbell! Bis were also seriously burning.



Other:

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

Cool Pic - Even Marylin did weights! Probably just for a photo shoot and she's obviously not buff but the idea of it was cool to me, I always kind of admired her more curvy figure over some extremely thin celebrities of today, although she still looks tiny to me.

Basic Cuts/Xceed/Excell pre-WOs today, on track with all my supps, low carbing for the long haul and feeling great! I don't need no stinking carbs! I am thinking LEAN today!

Training:

Cardio - Tae Bo Cardio FAT BLASTER (I love saying that ) DVD -Resistance Bands - 45 min - Loved this ofr a change of pace today and no impact to give my knees a little rest - but NO slacking here!! Cardio + Resistance = Excellent workout!!

Weights - On today's menu...Shoulders and Abs. Should be feeling the burn today after those bands this morning and the core WO yesterday...looking forward to it!! Burn, baby, burn!

Other:

It is ALMOST FRIDAY!!! Yay!! Always hard coming back after vacation. For some reason I am bouncing off the walls today, completely hyper!! You can't tell can you? LOL

NEW WOs Coming - Almost forgot! I am ordering one or two new Cathe DVDs today from the Hardcore series *drooling*...cannot WAIT to get them and get my ass kicked hard!!! I am tunring into such a masochist - BRING ON THE PAIN!!

Weights - Shoulders - Good workout on shoulders. Stuck to the lower rep on all sets this time to keep good form, strength seemed down a little more than last WO even though I was full of energy, just physcially couldn't do more reps. Didn't get to do abs as was running short on time but worked them extra this week and will do some at the gym tommorrow.
