Progress picture trauma is over for a month - yay! Focusing on my new AM cardio schedule which starts Monday. My oldest starts swimming lessons soon 4 days a week at 5 pm so my WO schedule change will make things much easier. I am going to be really pushing myself this month to have some improvements to show for next month. Can't wait to burn that fat tommorrow!! Woo-hoo!!

Sorry for the late update - busy day! Took the kids to the park and my oldest son to play tennis (his new infatuation now that t-ball is over). It was so hot that even being in the shade most of the time and drinking lots of water my littlest got overheated and threw up and had leg cramps when we got in the car to leave. Really gave me a scare!! But he is fine now, thank goodness!

Also cleaned out the deep freezer and fridge and pantry and got rid of all that "we have to use it up someday" bad food!!! Yay! Even got hubby to ditch his hot wings, onion potato swirls, pumpkin pie, and cinnamon rolls! And I gave up my Chocolate Fudge Brownie Low-Fat Frozen Yogurt!!! I am hardcore now We gave it all to his Mom, she can afford the calories! LOL I even made lunches for the week and 3 days worth of dinners!! Felt very productive today!

Thanks EME!! Guess I'd better do a good job since you are watching! I am looking forward to it too and know this month will be even better since I will be on your plan the full month this time. I am loving the workouts and the diet, and feel like they are both challenging me in very good ways. I think you would be proud today, I got up at 4:45 AM so I could do my cardio AND I ditched the instant oatmeal and ate PLAIN oats!!! I am either very serious or very crazy!

Oh and you were right about the flax oil, I got some and it is WAY easier to chug than the olive oil! Thanks for the tip!

Default EME Plan - Week 4, Day 1, 5/8/06 Monday

Diet/Supps/Sides:

Updated diet for AM Cardio. Finally switched to PLAIN oats and now chugging the flax oil! Never thought that would happen! LOL Flax does taste alot better than olive going down though! Found a yummy Balsamic Vinagrette with 5 cals and no fat or carbs! Mmmm

BC/Xceed/Xtend today for pre/post WO. Great combo as usual. Not as thirsty today, didn't drink as much as usual or feel as warm.




Training:

Cardio - Got up at 4:45 AM to do morning Cardio and it was great to start the day off sweating! Did a great hi impact/step/weight interval DVD and used 40 lbs for the squats/deads and lunges. Boy those burn when you have to do lots of reps, especially in the low end! Ugh! But it felt really good and I am not hurting (yet)!

Weights - Awesome! Up in reps on most everything and feeling really strong! I will be surprised if my chest and arms are not sore tommorrow. Everything was shaking pretty good.



Other:

Since I did pics and monthly summary, ran out of time to do weekly charts. Will show on this week's chart the end of the week rather than delay today's posting.

Cardio - Did a kick-butt DVD this morning! Nothing like starting off your day with airborne jumping jacks to get you going! LOL

Weights - Had to do Shoulders-Abs today instead of Back-Tris-Calves so I could do at home. Crazy day and couldn't get to gym at lunch. Up on reps for most, still working on the superset but abs were feeling great! Looking forward to hitting the gym on Thurs and Fri for weights, I miss it! Chest is a bit sore from yesterday.



Other:

Whey Samples - Got my whey samples from Anabolic Nutrition and I must say they were very tasty! The Chocolate Banana was yummy. I didn't care for the peanut butter as much. I have the Strawberry/Banana to try tommorrow.

New Gear - I am looking to get some more DVDs (I have alot of them but not all are very challenging) and a much higher step so I don't have to do high-impact everyday to get up the heart rate for cardio. Hoping to get more weights and a barbell too. I am quickly outgrowing all the weights I have! Yay! I'd like a treadmill but that will have to wait a little while.

Tommorrow - Off weights tommorrow but looking forward to trying a new DVD I rented that looks pretty challenging.

Super Size - OMG Hubby rented that Super Size Me movie, have you guys ever seen that!! If you ever have a craving for McDs watch it instead and it will go away!! Ugh! Very interesting to say the least!

Cardio - Kickbox Bootcamp DVD - 60 min - Good sweat this morning! New rental DVD had some interesting moves with a body bar which I'd never used before. Was heavy on the shoulders with lots of punching with hand weights (Ouch! Shoulders are really sore now!) and a bunch of stepping/squatting/lunging drills. Slightly challenging but not much fun, didn't like instructor much and alot of moves were awkward. Probably won't be doing this one again.

Weights - OFF


Other:

Can't WAIT to hit the gym tommorrow...FINALLY!! Working out at home is convenient but it is just NOT the same!!! Doing Back-Biceps-Calves...yipee!!

Found a cheap used bench with barbell, 170 lbs of weight, preacher attachment, etc. Hope to get it so I can do more weights at home when needed. Also found some steps on eBay (I love eBay! *fingers crossed*
