Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weight: AM - 164 PM - 163.6 Diet/Supps/Sides: Supplement Update/Questions Xceed - This is my fifth day (not consecutive) taking this at 2 doses daily and I feel like it is starting to kick in. Took before AM workout and again before PM workout. After not taking it yesterday, I defintiely noticed a difference. I felt stronger and not sure if related but seems like my veins were really noticable during both workouts. When I started getting really fatigued on last reps I felt like I had extra oomph to finish even when my arms were shaking. The thought of not taking Xceed the second time and using bulk CEE when I am working out twice a day makes me sad. I really like the extra energy and strength I am getting from it! I am thinking if I were to go down to 1 dose it would be better to take pre-weights vs. Cardio - would folks out there agree? CEE - Got my Primaforce CEE today but deciding how to use. If I were to take this for my second dose would I take immediately after workout? Or still wait 6 hours like i do with Xceed? Xtend - Started today, took pre and post PM workout. May have just ben me but it sure seemed to help when it was push-up time. My chest has been very sore and it normally would have burned doing pushups but it didn't. Grape flavor was pretty tasty but I'd defintiely recommend getting the larger container. I didn't realize you have to take 2 scoops for a serving (more if you weigh more) so it is going to go very fast. Sesamin - No sides yet and none expected. Have a feeling this is one of those that you don't really feel anything but hoping it will promote fat loss adn will notice something after being on it for a while. Basic Cuts - Feeling the heat today and drinking alot of water. Upped to 6 today taking 2 early AM, 2 pre-workout late morning, 2 pre-workout evening. Gave me lots of energy and good feeling and less dry mouth than I get with others. cAMP - Going to wait a couple more days since Xceed is kicking in. Then will try this at night. The dosing directions on the bottle are a little confusing as it says to take during the day, but then says you can take at night if you are new to it. I am thinking I will take 2 caps at bedtime. Trying to find logs of others using at night and see what they are doing. ![]() Training: Shoulders were tough today. I definitely have alot to work on. I was disappointed having to drop down to 10 lb dumbells on the superset but 15 was just too heavy to have any kind of form on most exercises. I will be pushing on these and hope to develop what FnF calls my "baby lats" hehe. I was happy with the ab workout though and increased my reps by 5 per set. Can't wait to get back in the gym to do hanging leg raises instead of the ball crunches I do when at home. I love those leg raises ![]() Cardio kickboxing class was awesome tonight! I swear we jumped rope double-time or ran in place doing speedbags for 1/2 of the class, that really got the heart rate up there. We did alot of kicks and squats and I was very excited to see my quads popping out all over after class...I love that! ![]() ![]() Other: Looking forward to my first EME-style leg day tommorrow...on the menu...triple drop sets!!! Likely to be folowed by the infamous 15 degree incline treadmill...I can feel the fat burning already! ![]()

Hopefully this gives a little insight into why I chose these..other than sounding like a total supplement junkie!!..LOL I do believe diet and exercise are MOST important above all...despite the supps I have fun playing around with. ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is the scoop on the logic behind the various supps: Michael recommended Xtend to help with recovery. The others he reviewed and ok'd for me to take during the plan. Most were things I had previously purchased based on my experiences in my last log. After success with Melting Point for 7 weeks, I needed to take a break but wanted something else for fat loss so I decided to try Sesamin. The cAMPHIPOLIC was stacked with it on a great sale and I thought the idea of a night-time thermo was interesting so thought I'd try. The AMP and Stim-X were great stims for me last log but quite powerful for "daily" use. FnF sent me a sample of Basic Cuts and worked well so trying that as primary stim and alternating the others as desired. The Xceed and Bulk CEE (to use post-wo for cost efficiency) were added to support muscle growth based on FnF's good experience with them. The Potassium and Magnesium were added to ensure adequate levels to combat water retention while on Melting Point. May discontinue but keeping in for now. The Flax Oil I am discontinuing taking in small amounts daily as I have a day on my plan where I take a larger quantity of it.

Legs like Jello. Can't wait for next week! Enough said. *BB Dictonary for newbies like me saying - WTF is a Triple Drop Set? 1 set= Do full weight reps, followed by 50% weight to failure, followed by 25% weight to failure. Rest. Repeat for desired # of sets. ![]() Other: Might actually get to go out with Hubby on Sunday...ALONE!! Woo-hoo!! Has to have been a couple months at least. Looking forward to using my cheat meal at a decent restaurant! And no harassing me!!!! EME says I SHOULD use my cheat meal and Sunday is my Carb Up..so there! :p LOL

I mixed it with Xtend and Gatorade powder so I can't comment on the taste. Didn't notice any sides. One thing weird was that inside the container when I opened it, the pwder was in little balls. Like it was clumped together. Is that normal? Basic Cuts and Xceed for pre-workout. Still seeing lots of veins but no pumps as far as I can tell from the Xceed, definitely gives me energy and strength though. EDIT: Almost forgot!!! I am going to try starting the cAMPHIBOLIC tonight, 2 caps at bedtime. **Will post diet at end of day** Training: Step class this morning was awesome but it was definitely more challenging after Leg Day yesterday and incline treadmill last night!! Whew, I could sure feel my legs working! Got a little cramping in the calf midway through class but went away quick. Overall I am feeling great and don't mind feeling the muscles I've worked this week a bit - I kind of like it that way Definitely not so sore that I can't move or anything so I think recovery is going well. I have been less sore since using the Xtend - love that stuff! ![]() Other: Looking forward to an OFF day tommorrow!!! Yipeee!! EMBARASSING GYM MOMENT (yes...another one!) - I forgot this yesterday.... Went to try the leg curl in the weight room vs. the lying one that is a machine. It is one where you are supposed to kneel on it and bend over and put your elbows on these pads. Anyway, I kinda figured out how to use it and put what I thought was good weight based on the machine one. I get up into the contraption and lock the knee pad in place with the weight resting on my leg, go to curl and.... OMG it is WAY too heavy and now I am stuck in the machine with my butt up in the air trying to pull out the pin before my leg breaks!!!!!! Ahhh!! Thank god I finally got it undone without having to ask someone to help me and hurried out of there but it was SOOO embarassing!!! :o From now on I am doing the lying one until I know what the heck I am doing!

The ratio was like 45:3 women:men...hmm I should start taking them again..well I was doing my thing. Pretty intense. Right in the middle of the room. Come home and to my surprise my short had a 6 inch rip right under my...No wonder everyone was staring at me. perverts! No one mentioned anything...hmm..perverts :crazy1:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weight: AM - 162.4 PM - 164.2 Weight expected to rise after carb up today but to go back down and end up lower than before *crossing fingers!!* Diet/Supps/Sides: cAMPHIBOLIC - Took 2 caps last night at bedtime. Was about 30 min before I actually got to bed but I didn't notice any sides and slept solid. When I woke up this morning, I had a very bad headache and felt very nauseous. Had to force feed breakfast. By noon, was feeling better and very hungry. Just after starting to eat lunch got bad tummy troubles. Been ok since except headache came back this evening. So I can't say it is related to the cAMP. But it is strange that the very specific tummy issues and general feeling is very similar to what happened any time I tried to take Hydroxycut any time after first 12-week run, or Dexatrim Natural - except that it alternated with vomiting. Only ingredient I see that is same in all 3 is Green Tea and I can't imagine that would cause it. But who knows, maybe it is something else. I am going to take it again tonight and see what happens. No stims today, took only sesamin and multi. Didn't drink nearly enough water. Diet - Carb Up/High Cal Day - Regular breakfast, cheat meal late lunch at Outback Mmmmm , regular snack in evening. Since looking at the nutritional info would surely give me heart failure and much guilt, I am not going to so no macros today.Training: OFF - Resisted the urge to do cardio after eating at Outback...but it was hard!! Other: Feeling pretty sore all over today, especially in the legs and glutes - ouch! But the day of rest was good. Both kids are in bed now - woo-hoo!!! So planning to go to bed early tonight. Yay! ![]() Week 1 Summary Charts AM weights only) ![]() ![]() Too early to compare anything related to lifting. Overall, extremely happy with progress so far!! ![]()

Diet/Supps/Sides: cAMP Reaction/No Longer Taking - My earlier concerns about the cAMP possibly having sides for me has proven valid..... I woke up this morning with same horrible nauseous feeling as yesterday but about 4 times worse. Could not stop vomiting and unabel to eat anythign until about 2 pm and even then kind of force feeding. I am going to stop taking it because I can't afford to try it a third time and feel this bad. I am sure it is a great product but there is just something my body is rejecting and I don't know why.This exact same thing has happened to me with a couple other products so it is me, not just this product. There must be something in it that I am sensistive to...just wish I knew what. Other Supps - Minimal supps today. Only could drink 1/2 of my Xtend/Gatorade cocktail post-workout. Boy, it hurt me to have to pour it down the drain!! No!!! Supplement Abuse!!! Diet - Hard to eat today after the cAMP reaction today but I force fed down what I could. ![]() Training: Cardio - Felt like stopping after 30 min on the incline treadmill but I am happy to say that I did NOT!! Actually, I turned the speed up a bit! Great workout, lots of sweat!! ![]() Weights - Went up on weights or reps on most exercises! Did Back-Biceps-Calves today instead of Chest-Tri-Abs since that is shorter and I can fit into a short lunch tommorrow at home.![]() Other: Enough excitement for one day, I have nothing else to add.
