I do have progress pics from week 1 and week 6.5 in my bb.com log for those interested. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | Hey DM just reading over your progress, looks fantastic! Great to see everything heading steadily in the right direction. That's the best way to transform, slow and steady, gives you the best chance of not rebounding. ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Diet/Supps/Sides: Took Basic Cuts and Xceed today for second time. BC worked great and defintiely felt a difference with Xceed although I think it would have been even more had I made it to the gym at the planned time. But I felt great during the workout and had lots of energy and felt strong during weights. Can't say I had a pump though. Never had one before but I figure if I did - I'd know it! Will keep on trying it and see hwo it goes. Question - do folks taking Xceed take on thier off days too or just on workout days? And also, what about cardio only days? ![]() Workout: AWESOME! Did legs and abs and a back exercise I missed last week. Didn't increase any weights except leg press but had solid workout with good form and felt really great! Could have done more but had to get on to Cardio. Reduced weight a little on squats and did more reps since they seem to be lagging behind as far as weight increase so thought that might help me get better at them to do more of them for a change. The hanging leg raises were awesome! I will be doing those from now on. Thanks, FnF! On cardio I decided to try a more HIIT-like approach and do the interval program which is 2 min average and 2 minutes high resistance and incline. Tried to stay on the very high end of target heart rate for first 2 min, then on second 2 went all out to max heart rate. That was really great! It made the 45 min go by fast because I was watching the interval time, not the elapsed time and it was super for pushing yourself on the all out intervals to see how hard you could I will definitely try this again and hopefully it will trick my body into burning more fat!! Thanks, Crobar! I think I will definitely be feeling everything I did tommorrow - especially at Step calss at 9 am!! LOL![]() That was an awesome workout but now...if I could just learn to do one armed push-ups spread-eagle on chairs like this..then I would seriously be GI Jane material! Booya!! But if that ever happens I can assure you I will NOT be shaving my head!! LOL..gotta watch that movie again soon for motivation...![]() Other: Amazingly nothing else! Well, there is one thing but it's a secret - so you will have to stay tuned!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Diet/Supps/Sides: New Food - Made something new for dinner tonight and I must say it was extremely tasty! I was proud of myself because it I have never eaten or cooked shrimp and I added onto the recipie so it was my own little creation. Hubby said it was probably the best thing I have ever made, and it was healthy!! Nothing fancy but was shrimp over pasta in olive oil, snap peas, onion, red pepper, garlic and tomatoes. Mmmmm I will be eating shrimp from now on! New Supp - Tried Cytomax Pre-formance meal replacement drink this am because I woke up about 40 min before class was starting. First off, I ordered orange (choice of orange or berry)...didn't know it was "Creamy Orange". For some reason that just sounded wrong to me and not very appealing. But I chugged it down and it was tolerable. Kind of like orange flavored Metamucil or something to me but with foam on top. Not great but it was very convenient and mixed well so it is a keeper for me for those kind of mornings/days when you just can't eat soon enough before workout. That happens to me alot sometimes with my sometimes unpredictable family schedule. Thanks, Spaceclown for info on this ![]() Weird Possible Side - Took BC and Xceed before morning workout around 8:30 am and then again 6 hrs later. Sometime around 12:30 I noticed I could "feel" my heart beating. Didn't feel like it was racing or beating out of my chest but I noticed it more, more aware of it. It came and went like a twinge or something. Checked my pulse and didn't seem high. Seemed to last maybe an hour or two, on and off. Didn't notice again after second doses. Maybe it was just me. Anyway thought I'd mention since it was unusual. ![]() Workout: Great Step Class this morning. Arrived a few minutes late and of course they were doing a new routine so took a minute or two to catch on but went super from then on in. They did intervals with weights today for a change and a little bit of kickboxing so that was fun. Thought I would be dying after last nights workout but I was surprisingly fine, even during squats and weights. Funny how I use 15 lb weights now for most (biggest available in class) and I used to die with 3-5 lbs! LOL I even threw a weight on my chest during abs. Got some funny looks but it hurt so good and was worth it! I gotta keep building my secret 6-pack that hides beneath the fat just waiting to be exposed ..LOL I am a little sore now but I like that!![]() Other: Run, Mommy, Run! - Fun day today, went to t-ball after class and enjoyed getting some sun, although it was almost too hot (low 90s)! Especially when my 3 year old decided he wanted to play "Let's see how many times I can run away from Mommy and make her sprint around the t-ball field to catch me"!!!! LOL So guess I got a second workout as he did this about 3 times during the game. At least I was wearing a team jersey and hat so I kind of blended in (well, at least that is what I tell myself! LOL)EASTER MIRACLE!!! - An amazing thing happened at my house this evening.....BOTH of my boys were in bed and ASLEEP at *gasp* 8 PM!!!!! Woo-hoo!!! Needless to say, I had a very pleasant evening Well, I am on bunny duty so I better go make that easter magic happen. Happy Easter to all!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Diet/Supps/Sides: No diet log today. Was a busy day, gone most of day at a picnic and no time to go back and try to figure out what was in the foods and my the end of today, honestly I just want to block it out - I don't want to know! Had normal breakfast and lunch and at BBQ did very good having chicken breast with no BBQ sauce, corn on cob with no butter, salad with FF dressing but did try a little BBQ beans and homemade mac and cheese. Since my mother-in-law made it I was somewhat obligated. As far as the easter candy....*sigh* I plead the fifth on the grounds that that I may incriminate myself. But I will say that my body is punishing me now and the mere sight of any candy, even chocolate makes me ill. I will be punishing myself in the gym the rest of the week for sure.Woek at 6:00 am, took 2 Basic cuts after breakfast around 7:30 am, went back to bed 8:30 - 9:45 (being the bunny is tiring! ) Had one weird heart "flutter" feeling about 15 min after waking. Pulse was 66-72 BPM, normal. Went away and took Xceed 15 min later, did not come back at all rest of day.Workout: OFF Other: Beautiful day, got some sun at a picnic at the in-laws. Kids asleep relatively early again so got a little adult time which was very nice Busy day ahead tommorrow and up too late with lots yet to do. Hope to get back on track and hopefully share some good news! ![]()
