Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weight: AM - 163.4 PM - 164.2 Diet/Supps/Sides: BC/Xceed/Excell Pre-WO. On target with diet, I will be eating my fish for dinner like a good girl while hubby enjoys a center cut pork chop. *macros later* Training: Weights - OFF, swapping off day with tommorrow. Gym only open limited hours and by the time I could go the traffic was insane due to the shuttle launch. Cardio - KickMax: Advanced Kickboxing DVD - 74 min - Oh yeah!! Felt AWESOME to get back in my cardio groove, I was sweating off the fat like crazy! I added 2 lbs weights this time for all the punching combos and got a nice burn going in the shoulders and arms. Hams and glutes were sore today, the plie squats and leg drills really burned - but they hurt SO good! Other: Nothing too exciting today, just relaxing at home with the family and getting ready for the week. Tried out some new software to be able to track my progress on weights easier as well as produce some charts. Pretty good so far but not sure it will do what I really need/want. The software I use now is great for the weight and diet tracking but doesn't do much for workouts. Of course having one place to do it all would be best, I am always looking for ways to make tracking and charts easier and faster. I still use Excel on the side for some. If anyone knows of any good, one stop shopping type software that is relatively inexpensive please let me know. Hope everyone is having a great 4th! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weight: AM - 163.2 PM - 164.2 Diet/Supps/Sides: AMP/Xceed/Excell Pre-WO. ![]() Training: Cardio - IMAX3: Adv Step Interval DVD - 45 min (Intervals 1-6) - Squeezed in the cardio this morning amid taking care of my youngest son who wasn't feeling well. Only did intervals 1 -6 out of 10 so a little shorter than usual but I got an awesome workout anyway, so it's all good .Weights - Back/Bis/Calves - Great night at the gym tonight - woo hoo!! Didn't manage any huge PRs but was completely focused and full of energy and feeling pumped. Tried to push on calves to build them up a bit...to match my quads (they are getting quite noticeable these days - I see progress!!! And they feel like rocks! Gotta love that!!)![]() Other: Good day for 1st day back at work after holiday, very happy that out of town meeting for tommorrow was cancelled which will make my day, and getting my workouots in, much easier. Got a compliment from one of my Hubby's friends who had not seen me in a long time. That is always nice It was funny, he didn't recognize me and was wondering who the heck I was, even though I walked out of the house with my son. He told Hubby "I knew you were in a new house, but I didn't know you go a new wife!" We got a message from his wife shortly after he left wanting to see pics of me and know what I was doing... LOLThinking about how I used to be got me looking at some old pics that I keep for motivation, although painful to look at. The one that illustrates the changes the most dramatically is VERY scary (trust me)...I have to black my face out just to look at it. Someday if I am feeling brave I will post it, only because I think if someone out there is in the same boat thinking they can never change, seeing that would show that it is never too late.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Weight: AM - 164.2 PM - 164.8 Diet/Supps/Sides: BC/Xceed/Excell Pre-WO. Almost out of Basic Cuts, will run through end of this week and then substitute AMP after that until I have to stop the almost all my supps mid-week. *macros later* Training: Cardio - KickMax: Adv Kickboxing DVD - 50 min (no time for the leg drills today) - Used 2 lb DBs on punching segments - Son still home sick, skipped the leg drills due to extra morning duties. Sweated my butt off and it felt great. Struggled a little on some of the intense cardio blasts, felt a little under par but got a great workout anyway. Weights - Missed shoulders/abs, family and work stuff. Will try to make up today or tommorrow. Other: Challenging day at work and at home. TOM coming didn't help matters but explains the weight this week which made me happy. Day ended in a better-late-than-never calgon moment in peace and quiet late last night and it was definitely worth staying up late to get it! ![]()

Training: Cardio - IMAX3: Adv Step Intervals DVD - 60 min - 4" Step - Son still home sick, skipped the leg drills due to extra morning duties. Sweated my butt off and it felt great. Struggled a little on some of the intense cardio blasts, felt a little under par but got a great workout anyway. Weights - Leg Day scheduled, missing Shoulders/Abs. Will fit in what I can today and hit the other tommorrow depending on how the day goes. *Details Later* Other: It's a fresh new day and a Friday at that - yay!!! TGIF!! Looking forward to the weekend even though I may need to work some. LOG/NEXT PLAN- I have decided to extend my logging of this plan through July 27th. Then I may continue logging here but move my log to another section as I will no longer be in IMPC after this months update. After I recover, I will be doing another butt-kicking plan from EME!! Woo-hoo!! He going to get me leaner and I am planning to try out some products from ALRI to complement my diet and training. I am very excited about that and can't wait! Thanks to all who have followed this log and my previous ones for your support! For those who decide to stick around after this week, prepare to be entertained as I go totally "natural" and attempt to continue on my current plan for a couple weeks with basically NO supps! Ahhh! Should be interesting...and somewhat painful (especially no BCAAs and no Stims for my 5 am cardio )!!! PROGRESS PICS - Coming this weekend, hope they are good! *fingers crossed*

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | LOL@jkeith Weight: AM - 164.8 PM - 168* *TOM, will go down. I usually fluctuate anywhere from 5-10 lbs Diet/Supps/Sides: AMP/Xceed/Excell Pre-WO. On target with diet. *macros later* Training: Cardio - Ran out of time, will make up tommorrow. Weights - Shoulders/Abs/LEGS! - AWESOME WORKOUT TODAY!!! This was THE best workout I have had in a while! I kept thinking about it being my last Leg day of my official 12 wk plan and how I missed some earlier on and I tried to really push to break some PRs and work extra hard - I am SO happy to say I did it!! Details are below. Weights are not staggering to others for sure but to me, it was really great, especially FINALLY getting to 100 lbs on squats and hitting 350 on Leg Press - I am SO HAPPY!!! *dancing* And viperspit, I did my SLDLs on the 6" box and went ALL the way down!! I feel your pain and I support ya! I got some funny looks when I did it too, but I did manage to finish wihtout falling off the box! LOL (last time I tried that, I did and gave up)![]() Other: Took my progress/IMPC pics. As usual I am never happy with them but they are done and I will be cropping and homefully posting a little later tonight. Great day today, awesome workout, got my hair done, got my pics taken (not fun but glad it's done) and get to relax a little now. ![]() Can't wait for the gym to open!! Been up since 6 am! Excited I am going to look at/get a treadmill tommorrow!! It is used but only 1 year old and will be a great thing to have to help with recovery. As soon as I am allowed to start walking I will have no excuse with it staring me right in the face! It only goes to a 10 degree incline but I think I can still get a great steady state cardio workout with it. It will be nice to have something here for the morning cardio besides the DVDs. I am doing more high impact than I used to now so treadmill is a nice break for the joints and the brain since no thought is required They also have a bike Hubby wants and we have the used elliptical, so I figure at about $150 bucks or less for all 3 pieces of equipment you can't really go wrong.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | Well, since it is so late (or early depending on how you look at it), it is my last official day on my 12 week plan. So here are my progress pics at week 12 and some comparisons of week 1 and week 12 to show cumulative progress. I am very happy with my reductions in BF and I believe I have gained muscle since my weight has only fluctuated about 7 lbs. I can feel a difference in my body being firmer all over and I definitely have become stronger. Since the main goal was to reduce BF and maintain muscle I am very happy with my gains which were like a bonus prize! I will say that loking at week 1 vs. week 12, I do see a difference now and I am very happy!! Thank you so much to EME for the plan and coaching, to everyone who has supported me online and offline and also to the companies making the great products I've been using - thanks everyone!! ![]() More summary stuff to come in the next day or so....now on with the pics! ![]() ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 34 | I am feeling brave and want to face up to my past so I can start fresh. I want the next part of my journey to be a whole new book, not just a new chapter! So here it is....if anyone thinks it is too late for them to change, please remember this photo.... This is where I came from. This is what my body looked like in March of 2005. This was me at 258 lbs, which was AFTER I had already lost 24.5 lbs since 11/4/2004 when I started my journey at my heaviest ever weight of 282.5 lbs. I cannot look at this picture without blacking out my face. But I am trying to learn that I am who I am now and be comfortable with it and leave this old body behind for good. So I apologize as I know this photo is not nice to look at but I feel it explains where I came from and shows that it is NEVER too late to change - we all start somewhere! ![]() ![]()
