This and other boards filled with people who are doing just that and are so supportive of each other is very inspiring to me to keep it going. Thank you for stopping by my log and very cool to see a fellow Team Torture member (aka EMEs & Kendras clients..LOL)! Good luck with your plan - although with EME you really don't need luck, just alot of sweat!
No problem, you deserve it. I am in day 3 of my plan and I have all the faith in the world that EME's plan will work for me. I am trying to get my pics posted so that I can share my transformation with everyone. It is exciting to now that in 12 short weeks you can truly change your life. Have a great day and keep up the good work

Default EME Plan - Week 10, Day 3, 6/21/06 Wednesday

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!

Weight:
AM - 165
PM - 164

Diet/Supps/Sides:

AMP in AM, was really tired and it got me up and going! Only 1 gallon of water today, will try to increase tommorrow.

Training:

Cardio - Kick, Punch & Crunch DVD - 60 min - 2 lb DBs - Awesome WO this morning! Love kickboxing and this one rocks, especially with added handweights! Great cardio and really felt the burn in the upper body with all the punches Gotta love doing the jump kicks (Note to Stonecoldtruth - You know every time I do these now I think of that darn Ninjawoman smiley!? It's all your fault!! LOL)

Weights - Shoulders - FINALLY moved up on weight on the Lat Superset!!!! YEAH BABY!! Woo-hoo!!! And using 30s on the others feels really great, even though I can only (barely!) do 6 reps.

Other:

Cardio Workout Rotation - I've been rotating DVDs a while and now I've settled on my favorite instructor and formats (Step Interval & Kickboxing) I ordered the next versions in the "Hardcore Series" ( I just like saying that..lol) and am going to start rotating these on a consistent basis so I can see my progress better on cardio. I am going try the following rotation. If you are so inclined, you can visit the link to see video clips of what I will be doing.....and share the pain I am about to bring on myself!! LOL (not that anyone on a BB site is very interested in cardio...the girls in it are kinda buff, maybe that would generate interest? hehe)

M/W/F - IMAX 3: Advanced Step Interval - 60 min (start at low 4" step and move up after I get the moves down to avoid injury...or collapse! LOL)
http://www.shopcathe.com/Hardcore_Se..._DVD_p/650.htm

T/TH - Kick Max - Advanced Kickboxing - 74 min ( May start without the 10 min "Blast Challenge" and work my way up)
http://www.shopcathe.com/Hardcore_Se..._DVD_p/648.htm

SAT - Incline Treadmill - 15 degrees - 60 min @ 3.8 mph avg (goal)

Tommorrow - Will be out of town all afternoon so did Shoudlers today. Will do AM cardio and hopefully abs in the evening tommorrow.

All the "after" type people I know are in to kickboxing DVDs. I never got to that point, so to me it's always been an "after" type of activity. I understand what you mean about hardcore DVDs and I'll check out those links in about 6 months LOL.

You're still kicking butt and taking names and I hope you are seeing the results that you so obviously deserve.

Hey Arlighta! Thanks for the encouragement and stoping by! I hear what you are saying on the kickboxing. LOL I used to think that too but I did try it early on in my weight loss with an easier version by Kathy Smith and although I had to modify and could hardly get a leg in the air - nevermind leave the ground for a jump !!! - I enjoyed it and just kept on doing it until my strength and endurance improved. I find even the classes at the health club really are a bit advanced for someone new and you do better doing on your own first. The Tae Bo DVDs are popular but I also thing those are a bit fast paced for someone new to do it with any kind of good form.

P.S. You are doing great and if you keep it up you will be an "after person" before you know it!! lol

Default EME Plan - Week 10, Day 4, 6/22/06 Thursday

Weight:
AM - 162.3
PM - 161.8 - Almost to my record low of 161!
BF - 25% - OMG, I am average - yay! (I read somewhere avg woman is 25% fat.) Now I will keep going, so I can be better than average!

Diet/Supps/Sides:

Doing great with all the supps, no sides, happy woman On target with diet - even packed up my stuff and ate it on the road. Less than 1 gallon of water today, gotta drink more!!

Training:

Cardio - Imax3: Adv Step Interval DVD - 60 min - 4" Step - Killer workout this morning! I had to slow down in parts to get the steps down but this workout was so intense it didn't hurt my WO a bit! They made this one harder by reducing the recovery time between intervals and boy did I feel the difference! Ahhh! My goal today was just to make it through the entire thing without stopping and I did that, and then some, only missed a few reps here and there. I am very happy with that, it was really hard! I look forward to the challenge of mastering this one.

Weights - OFF, did shoulders yesterday, think they are groeing - they are sore! Wanted to to some abs in but didn't get to. Will try to do them tommorrow.

Other:

Swapped Step and Kickbox since I had done Kickbox yesterday. Looking forward to Legs tommorrow!

My issue is that they do a lot of moves that I'm afraid would compete with lifting - 800 kicks are certain to exhaust my legs, you know? I tried Tae-Bo at my lowest weight when I was maxing the Army PT test and it was too rough on my joints. I'm working on adding more baseline activity - more cleaning, more walking errands, more physical free time activities

Speaking of which, cleaning time!

Funny you say that adn a good point, the one I just did today had me wondering the same as there was a kicking drill section that really burned my legs. Ouch! Guess I will be putting it to the test later. Oops!

Default EME Plan - Week 10, Day 5, 6/23/06 Friday

TGIF!! .

Weight:
AM - 161.4 Yipee!
PM - *tbd*

Diet/Supps/Sides:

Did AMP/Xceed/Excell this morning because I was dragging ass big time. Got me awake and moving and now I am totally energized!! Will do AMP again later as it is my preferred pre-WO for Leg Day (and I have more of it than BC right now...gotta stretch out my supps!) I am enjoying the combo of alternating BC and AMP (usually within same day now as BC is my staple) because I can take BC later in the day and even on non-WO days while the AMP gives a little extra oomph first thing in the AM or before a more intense WO. Neither give me sides other than feeling warmer or increased thirst (more thirsty from AMP), but not dry mouth or anything - very pleasant to take. They seems to complement each other well with no bad interactions if you overlap slightly. I think these 2 will always be in my stash I definitely feel the BCAAs help alot with recovery and endurance. Undecided whether I will continue with Excell or go back to Xtend, will likely depend on funds. Sesamin is not giving me any sides but I am noticing drops in bodyfat and reduction in fatty areas, especially lately. Seems like when you take the Sesamin, especially with a more "fatty" meal (like steak or something), it digests faster. Maybe it is just me but I have noticed a pattern of that over time.

*macros later*

Training:

Cardio - KickMax: Adv Kickbox DVD - 74 min - Awesome WO!! Hard to get up the resolve to do this one today as i wasn't sure what to expect, but once I got going and mentally ready I went for it! I did the entire thing including the "blast challenge" which had me sweating like a madwoman! It was GREAT!! I am a little scared for legs later as there was a leg conditioning segment during which the instructor said "your legs will be screaming tommorrow after this, I guarantee" Um, they are screaming now! LOL

Weights - Legs planned for later

*details later*

Other:

Just SOO happy to be back on track!!! I am going to try to really push the rest of the way and see what I can do. I can't believe I have only 2 more weeks after this one! Guess I better make them great ones!!
