This afternoon's DC fun: Bis/forearms/calves/hammies/quads
Reverse cable curls 14, 8, 5 rp (+10 lbs, 1+3 reps 1st set , +2 reps 2nd set)
behind the back wrist curls 14 reps ss (+5 lbs , + 1 rep)
seated calve raises 14 reps ss
sumo leg presses 20 reps ss (+ 2 plates ...getting used to these...awsome)
Leg Press 5 reps ss + 20 reps widowmaker ss

Calves were sore while doing them (weird).
Everything else felt pretty good but Leg presses I probably should have done 1 extra WU set, I only did 2..3 might have been best.

Today was a cardio free day !

Nothing yesterday I was way too busy with things and decided to take the day off from cardio.

This morning was: 60 mins of my Patented Rid the Fat Cardio

It's been a few months since I did 60 mins straight on the stepmill.
It about killed me.

This morning's Rid the Fat Cardip: 30 mins stepmill + 15 mins treadmill

Tonight's DC excitement: [bb]Bis/forearms/calves/hammies/quads

bb curls 8, 5, 3 rp (+5 lbs)
bb wrist curls 15 ss (+5 lbs, +1 rep....time to increase wt yet again )
hack squat calve raises DC STYLE 15 reps ss OMG........this is insane
SLDL's 15 reps ss (+20 lbs, +1 rep....time to increase wt yet again)
Squats 7 ATG ss (+2 reps) + 20 rep widow maker ss (+40 lbs)

I saw stars during my squats. The widow maker set was unfreaking real.
I though a vein was going to burst on my neck and on my forehead, at least it looked that way in the mirror.

Some really nice gains this WO.

If I can get my ass up, tomorrow morning will be more Rid the Fat Cardio

AWESOME leg work, Pete! Way to go. I've never tried calf raises on the hack squat machine... might be kinda fun (in a sick sort of way)

Morning, Pete! Nice job on the workout! A squat machine is one of the things I'd like to add to my gym because I know I can also do standing calves on it. :p

Mark,
Try it, you won't be sorry.
Well, you will be sore as hell if you do them DC style.

SCT,
That damn this I have a love hate relationship with.

Diane,
Thanks ! Your workouts sure have not been to shabby either.
You should get squat machine, you can do quite a few things on it.

This morning's Rid the Fat Cardio: 30 mins stepmill
That is all I had time for today. After work is softball practice with my kids team. Hopefully it won't rain. They have their 1st scrimmage game this sunday and I still have a few girls who do not know how to slide.

Happy Day Peeps !

This afternoon's DC madness: bis, forearms, calves, hammies, quads

ez-bar reverse preachers 11, 7, 5 (+5lbs, + 1rep 1st set)
bb behind the back wrist curls 23 ss (need to go up)
leg press calve raises 15 reps ss OMG......I thought I was going to die
single leg curls 15 reps ss
hack squats 8 reps ss (+50 lbs), + widow maker set 20 reps

Streatching was so-so today. I think I could have held them for a bit more then I did.

Hopefully cardio in the am tomorrow.....I hear the stepmill calling me.

Tim,
Those calve raises are insane. I can do almost 900 lbs for reps doing calves raises on a hack squat machine the normal way..but DC style calves anyway is off the hook insane IMO.

Been Uber busy with work and softball for my kids lately..this is why I did not post my friday WO, which was excellent BTW.

Be good !

It is calling my name too! I was tempted to jump on today, but after my recent encounter with the russian kettlebells and high high high high rep squats, I decided against said action.

That's alll folks........all done in a quick 40 mins.

Training going well but have been super busy with softball with my kids.
As a head coach and board member in chage of both uniforms and field crew, it's been insane this year.

Most mornings I am keeping up my 4am cardio.
Lifting going well but not sure if I am going to continue DC'ing after next week.

Sunday: 30 mins stepmill + 15 mins treadmill
Monday: 30 mins stepmill + 15 mins treadmill
Monday PM: Lifting........nothing exciting but I got through it.
This morning: 30 mins stepmill + 15 mins treadmill

With IMPC pics looming, today after work is more cardio.

This morning's weigh in: 214 lbs
