Default Journey Towards Refuge: The Diet

Basically I'm aiming for around 4500-5000 calories a day in the following parameters:

Protein: 30-40%
Fat: 20%
Carbs 50-60%

This log will probably end up being a supplement log. I don't know yet. Stay tuned.

Default May 2007 Stats

So, on this first day of May I will reveal my current statistics. This will be measured on the last Sunday of every month (ex. these were taken on 4/30/07).

* Check methodology after the stats for the method used.

BACKGROUND:
Date: 4/30/01
Weight: 168lbs
BF%*: 7.97%

ARMS:
-Left Arm: 13"
-Right Arm: 13 1/16"
-Left Forearm: 12"
-Right Forearm:12 5/16"

TORSO:
Neck: 16 1/4"
Chest: 40 1/4"
Midsection: 29 1/2"
Waist (Hips?): 32"

LOWER BODY
Left Thigh: 21"
Right Thigh: 21 1/16"
Left Calf: 14 7/16"
Right Calf: 14 9/16"



*Body Fat calculation: For this I am using my accu-measure calipers and I am using various measurements. For each area I will be taking 3 measurements and averaging them and I will be utilizing the Jackson & Pollock, and Brozek formulas.

Chest Measurements:
1. 10mm
2. 10mm
3. 10mm
Avg: 10mm

Stomach Measurements:
1. 16mm
2. 14mm
3. 14mm
AVG: 14.67mm

Thigh Measurements:
1. 14mm
2. 14mm
3. 12mm
Avg: 13.3mm

Jackson & Pollock
1.10938 - [(.0008267 x 37.97) + (.0000016 x (37.97 x 37.97) - (.0002574 x 18) = 1.082502

Brozek
([4.570 / 1.082502] - 4.142) x 100 = 7.97%
