Default Progress reports - 2 months in.....

Well, August is upon us. How is everyone progressing on their IMPC goals?

Since June, I've put on about 4.5lbs of muscle (and 2lbs of fat). I took off a week before starting my cut.

I just started my cut diet earlier this week and can't wait to see how things progress moving forward!!!

Sweet muther this is exciting!

Nice, what method are you using to test body fat %?

I have dropped 5-6lbs since the June pictures.

I've been using calipers, as I don't trust the impedence-style testers. I've considered doing the dunk-tank, but I don't see the point in going to that extreme (ie paying fees, travel, etc.) when the mirror & calipers work just fine.

I slimmed down a bit, then upped the calories (inadvertently mind you, traveling for work takes it's toll sometimes - I'm still learning the art of eating sane when at dinner with executives), put back on a few pounds but I have DEFINITELY put on some mass.

I have also enlisted the help of a buddy of mine who is training me. We work together and hombre is stacked - certainly someone you'd take the advice of if you were training. Plus he's natural, so I can draw inspiration from working out with him.

I thought I worked out with at least some level of intensity until I started working out with him, now I realize that I've just been going through the motions the last few months. We are going to evaluate my diet and get the new regimen in place to see where it takes us.

Lucky, you get to work out with someone Plus, you have time to work out twice a day.

I don't know how I'm doing. I'm starting to up my cardio a bit more - I had been doing some, but not enough. I don't feel that the image in the mirror is any different, and I don't feel like my clothes are fitting better. I haven't looked at a scale in a month, mostly because I wasn't happy the last time I got on one. It's definitely an uphill battle, trying to lose weight with a thyroid disorder. But I'm sticking to a healthy eating regime, and trying to make it to the gym most days of the week. We still have, what, 15-16 weeks left? That's still plenty of time to make a difference (I hope).

16 weeks is plenty of time!!! Thyroid disorders suck - my wife is hypo-thyroid and constantly battles it, too.
