Default The plan...

I know I shouldn't let folks in on my master plan for total domination, but I simply will out will everyone and make them kneel before Zod at my magnificent transformation.

So, for the next 2 months (ending around August 1st) I am going to do some hardcore cutting and see about shedding some hella fat. The idea is that it's easy to put on mass, but it's also easy to be discouraged when you are toting around alot of extra heft that doesn't need to be there. If I went with the average and only lost 3 lbs a week (which will not be acceptable) then I am looking at around 24 lbs by August 1st, which would put me around 235-240. I will spend the month of August filling in some blanks where I need to (not that I'm expecting to put on an inch here and an inch there, but I can certainly add some calories and some hardness to weak spots once I can get my comfortable layer of fat back a bit so I can see underneath), then spend the last 12 weeks of the contest cutting down to the finish.

Default Re: The plan...

good plan, if that works for you.

My plan, up the cardio, go low carb, add in a few cycles of some fat burners (looking at the venom series mostly, not ready to step into the next domain), and the big one, the Senior Metropolitan Championships at Lost Battlion Hall in LBH during the month of November, and I WILL be a 77kg (169lbs) lifter at that meet, one way or another. Idea is, keep calories around maintence and jack activity up, more walks, more bike rides, more runs, more jumps, more everything. The low carb + venom works really well (helped me go from 206 to 185, so why not 206 again to 169??). when I get to 169, I'll be in the 10-13% bodyfat range, so I'm going to look radically different, and I will be a lot stronger!!

We'll work on motivating each other

My plan: really up the cardio - I've found some classes at the gym that I really like, so it will be easier to do an hour of cardio 2-3 times per week without getting burned out, like on the treadmill; reduce calories and increase protein; decrease intake of artificial sweeteners (hello, mostly water!). If I can aim to lose 2 pounds per week, that will put me at about 48 pounds lost by the end of the contest. I'm sure it will be less than that, as I'm also going to be lifting, so I'll be adding muscle. And I'm thinking of adding in a fat loss supplement, but I haven't decided which one yet. But I know I can take the MIP category this year!

Workout:
Monday - cardio
Tuesday - lift
Wednesday - cardio
Thursday - lift or cardio, depending on what time I get to the gym
Friday - lift
Saturday - off (or yoga)
Sunday - core and yoga
