so its been about 20 days into the IMPC competition...give or take 10 days...hahah....how's everyone feeling?

its been 20 days solid for me! i feel motivated and confident in my abilities! i am SO SURE my transformation is gonna be great i can barely WAIT until November!!

Same here Pammie, I am having a Blast with my workouts and I am getting wierd stares form the guys at the gym, since the gals here are mostly Aerobic chicks

They just cannot believe that there actually are girls that like to lift.
This one guy just got done with the Leg Press and gave me a wierd look in disbelieve that I didn't change the weight after he got off and did mine with the same weight without a problem LOL He was baffled.

Good but these allergies are killing me. I felt like crap all day long yesterday. Little stressed out about how I am going to pay school...Other then that things are rolling slowly...ha..Finally got abs but under like 10 inches of lard..

Well, everyone in my gym has sort of sat up and taken interest. I've been there a few times per week every week since November, but I was training for a half marathon because I was so sickly and out of shape that long walks were taxing. And now I'm in there 5-6 days per week for at least an hour - all the trainers say hi and a few are asking about my progress.

I'm not outlifting any guys, and my weight is coming off slower than I would like because I'm at about 85-90% on the diet rather than 100% - but I know that every week I'm improving. This evening when I got home from the gym and was changing, I could literally *see* the difference in the mirror. I can't wait to post pics... I'm starting behind a lot of y'all but that just gives me more room to improve! :P

SAME! I've been fine for so long and then all of a sudden this morning, right before a final, I find that I haven't slept at all and my eyes are like practically crusted shut. Spring allergies hit me right off my feet. I just sneeze and my eyes get super red, itchy and eventually painful.

not too bad, I haven't worked out since april 6th I believe, and im going to mexico in 4 days. but im in exams right now (1st year of engineering) and im totally getting beat down, but I think my marks will be ok. after that I have a solid 4 months of lifting.

despite not working out, my body hasn't changed too much, weight still the same, im eating at maintainence right now.

not so well. I've missed a bunch of workouts this month because I got sick at the very start, and now I got sick again. In between I was on a trip for four days, couldn't workout.

My weights going down, but how much of it is muscle? I can't spare any muscle right now


On a side note, I'm happy (mostly) everyone else is steadily progressing Way to go guys and gals!

I'm kicking ass...

I weighed around 190 on March 20th and I'm now down to 180 as of today. That's 10 pounds in 5 weeks... sweet. Vascularity is slowly starting to creep down my forearms... I love to seeing the veins protruding just a little more each day. Lean mass is maintaining nicely, I've lost a little bit of fullness, which always happens on a cut. Stamina took a nosedive this week, most likely because I took a week off of training to let my poor body have a much needed rest. I don't like taking time off during a cut, as even one missed workout can result in strength loss, but I decided it was for the best. Hopefully my stamina will come back after the shock my body is receiving from this week of training... the DOMS is insane this week. I was feeling pretty buff when I looked in the mirror at the gym today -- probably just the endorphins clouding my vision.

Unfortunately, I'm developing a new problem. My right wrist is barking a little bit. It's not real bad, and not effecting my lifts, but its there. I'm considering getting a wrist support so I can hopefully avoid it getting any worse.

I can't wait to take my May pics and to see everyone else's. Go team IronMass!!!!

I am doing dandy. Feeling leaner and more energized but my sleeping is crap lately. Been falling asleep at 11pm or 12am and had to skip am cardio in order to get more rest. Not much in the weight loss department though. We will see how it all comes together at the end of the week. I feel like my waist is getting much smaller and back has gotten wider/thicker. Kickin butt at the gym broke my squat pr to 315 x 5 yesterday and no soreness at all. Did not do shoulders yesterday due to a sharp pain on my right shoulder. But its all part of the game. And...I need another weekend job!
