Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | The official entry will be the submission of your pictures in April. At that time you will need to declare which division(s) you are entering. However, if you plan on entering, feel free to start your training log now. The sooner the better. However, no pictures or info posted before April 1st will have any impact on the final judging. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | Everything is looking great. Just one question, how come the contest goes from April 1st, 2006 - Nov. 18th, 2006? Like I thought it would end December 31st or around there. I just feel that April-November is not enough time to judge overall improvement.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | We want the competition to be over before the holiday season begins so that people do not have to be dieting over Thanksgiving and Christmas. We expect the competition to be much more serious this year and competitors are going to have to do a true competition diet if they want to do well. That can be pretty tough to do over the holidays. This is why you always see the NPC National Championships take place during the second week of November. While there are a few shows around in late Nov. or Dec., the Nationals typically wraps up the competition season and kicks off the off season. 6 1/2 months is plenty of time to make major changes to your physique if you are training hard and dieting properly. I feel very confident we will have some people make outstanding progress over the duration of the competition. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | Yeah, I understand. Part of why I didn't do cardio was because of the weather. I just had another question. One of my friends wanted to take part in the bodybuilding, but he has a real contest in June. Do you think he could submit those pics in place of the final pics? So in other words, post his finals months ahead?

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | No. In order to be involved with the IMPC, you have to post your pics during the contest period every month like every other competitor. He is more than welcome to enter if he wants to join IronMass and post his updates every month. But, his final pics will be in November holding the downloaded picture, just like everyone else. When you enter a sanctioned competition, you can't bring a picture of what you looked like 5 months ago to show the judges. The competition is based on what you look like on the day of the show, and our competition is no different. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | If I have more hair this year I am not going to use the electric shaver again. Man, that left a lot of cut skin that turned into rashes now. The only place that I have noticeable hair is probably my armpits and calves.
