2005 Iron Mass Physique Competition - Final Scores

IMPC Competitors,

Thank you all for your participation in the 2005 IronMass Physique Competition.

I am pleased to Annouce that the winners of the 2005 IMPC are:

Bodybuilding: VanWilder

Most Improved Physique: AaronM

Let me say that this was an incredibly close competition on all counts.

It was very difficult to judge. You all looked fantastic and the difference between 1st and 4th place in many cases was minimal.

Feel free to discuss your placings with the judges. All of us are more than happy to provide constructive feedback and answer any questions you have.

Each judge scored their scorecard completely independently, and some variances in the scoring show just how difficult the decision was in many cases. It was truly very close.

I will be providing some further comments and insight tomorrow.

We will be contacting each of you for your mailing addresses to arrange delivery of the prizes.

All of this year's competitors will be receiving a personally autographed picture from IFBB Pro Fitness Competitor Kendra Elias and an IronMass T-Shirt.

If you already purchased a Black IronMass T, you will have your choice of either receiving another Black T ( based on availability ), or one of the new colored T's free when they are printed.

The class winners also be recieving additional supplement prizes.

On behalf of the IronMass staff and all the judges, I want to thank you again competitors for your participation, and I look forward to a FANTASTIC 2006 competition.

everyone did a great job, and should all be damn proud of your blood sweat and tear put into this contest (shit aint no walk in the park huh) you all made great improvements and i hope this motivates you to keep on pushing and training hard!

I was very impressed by the competitors, and glad that I was apart of the superstar judging staff (alright I'm no superstar but we had some pretty high class judges). Everyone should be proud of themselves!

i was actaully going ot compete this year if i didnt break my hand, but thats how it goes sometimes. there is always next year.

For all of us who compete, I think it's a really good idea to also judge if/when given the opportunity.

It's really an eye opener about the difficult process judges have to go through, especially when a competition is close.

It's always difficult as a competitor when you don't place as well as you'd hoped, or as well as you thought you should have. However, if you've been on the other side of the judging table, you have a much better appreciation of just how close it can be, and the small differeces that can result in either 1st or 3rd place, etc.
