I just bought a Neoprene elbow sleeve for my ryght elbow.. it helps and looks totally cool... but I styll feel some pain in it... I remember when I messed it up too... Going for a record in DB Bench Presses... I lost control trying to push it up and my arm went off at some stupid angle... and I waited to late to drop the weight... Sigh..

I've heard that the wraps for tennis elbow helps to relieve a lot of workout related pain... I'm gonna pick one up today... I'll be sure to mention it here & in my thread if I go pain free for a whyle..

I'm getting there and just thought I'd let you know.
I am going to get back to this and keep going in the right direction tommorrow, or at least right now that is my plan. If not Monday is my day to difinitely start getting things back into place, so wish you luck Spawn.

Default workout

Chest/triceps

Bench: 205x8wmup- 2x225x6-235x4-255x3-225x6-205x8-185x9(not a great bench night)
incline 30 degree: 210x4-200x5-180x7-180x7-2x160x8
incline 45 degree: 135x12, 155x10, 165x10(coulda done more but wanted to really focus on form and feeling it in the chest)
Decline: 3x165x10(been a while since i've done these and i shoulda put them in the program earlier, chest a little bit done by this point)

triceps

skulls: 2x90x10, 110x10, 2x120x8, 2x130x8-6
lying db ext.: 2x70x12-10, 2x75x10
tri pushdowns: 3x150x10
Did a variation of the tricep extension on the pushdown machine. i turned away from the machine or rack and braced myself against the rack and pushed the bar away from me. it was the vertical version of the lying extensions or skulls, got a great tricep burn so i was pleased and i didn't have any elbow pain. could be the exercise to replace skulls for awhile.
4x120x12-10

although not a champion workout it wasn't to bad, i played around with different weight and didn't have a really structured night, i'll know more tomorrow on how successful the workout was tomorrow. hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Take it slow. Work on 305 for 6-8, then move up to 315 for 6-8, then 325 for 6-8 and it will be where you want to be a month from now. Keep working on your form. You don't want to get a back injury and have to give it up for months or more. I know you know all of that, but sometimes it is worth repeating.

thanks rad, yes it is easy to let yourself get sloppy when hung up on improving your lifts so i will heed your advice. my curls are finally coming around, i dunno what i am doing different really but it seems a little easier lately. thanks for your post and i think the advice or help you are offering bren is great too. hope you have a great day tomorrow.

Great work.

Would you be up for trying a powerlifting routine to increase all of you lifts or are you just wanting to stick with bodybuilding and improve certain lifts?

Curls look very good, SLDL looks good. Not a bad workout.

Hey.. don't leave me out the game!!! ... I know Spawn is secretly competing with Rad.. but last Back day I had did 3 sets of 8 with 110 kg's for my deadlyfts... I know that puts me in the running... Translated that's 287...

Hmm.. 116 Kilo's will put me at 300.2 pounds... I'm going for it!!!!

Wait.. I dunno how I'ma get 58 kg's on both sydes.... I better make it an even 60 kg's per syde.. 120 kg's total... will give me... 309!!! Yeah baby.. Lyghtweight!!! Even if it's just 1 rep...

Naw.. 120 kg's x 2.2 = 264 ... 264 + 45 (bar) = 309 pounds... ... which will be a personal best... even for 1 rep..

I was doing 115 kg's for reps before... I don't thynk 120 for less than 8 reps will be a challenge... Lyghtweight!!!! ...
