| Silver Member | thanks all for visiting. regular squat: 205x10, 255x10, 275x8, 2x220xfailure, 10-12 leg press: 4x300x10 leg extensions: 50x10,60x10, 70x10, 80x8 leg curls:40x10, 2x50x8 (weak hammies) seated calve raises: 2x205x30, 2x185x25 felt pretty good, but i felt like i was fudging the squat on going low enough so i decided to lower the weight on last 2 sets to go deeper. i sure hope these things work because i hate squats. my hammies are really weak too. i am going to do some sldl or rdls. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | I thynk I've gone 8 or 9 months without doing any hamstring work.. but I've recently been attacking them in force... I do both leg curls & SLDL ... well, I thynk the men say Romanian Deadlyfts and the women do SLDL's .. ... I thought the Romanian's were a waste of tyme, but if ya do them slowly enuff, keep your back arched, you can really feel the hamstrings working... i'm probably the only man in my gym that does them.. and that's cool.. I don't want folks to say - "Wow he looks great, but he has weak hamstrings!!" .. Be flawless baby, be flawless!!! Peace..~G

Did you get cramps from hell until your hammies got used to being worked? Today was the first time that they cramped in a while, but I pushed them hard. (for me lol) |

| Silver Member | thanks game i plan on being flawless(one day), dex if its one thing i've learned, its to never ignore any part of the leg. i made the mistake in my youth of just training the arms(showy stuff). i truly believe ignoring my legs is why i am not any stronger overall now. my quads were screaming today and in my line of work (lotta walking) every time i took a step i was reminded of the leg workout. a sweet soreness but never the less it was tough. as far as hammies, yes they did cramp up. funny thing though, my calves weren't sore from the workout out last night. i think i used to much weight and didn't get the full range of motion. i am gonna drop down considerably and really stretch them out. thanks for the comments and hope everyone has a great weekend. |

I can extend my leg and touch my knee with my forehead... The left leg's hamstring feels stretched... but my ryght one feels lyke a rubber band ryght before it pops... Sigh.. when I was in physical therapy, I'd get stretched all the tyme.. how quickly you can lose it.. (flexibility, that is..) Peace..~G

Dummy me was taking these over the counter diet aides and the warnings on the back of the bottle was what had happened to me that night. I threw them away, and will take nothing else to help me lose weight. I will eat right, or continue to, and hopefully the rest of the weight that I have to lose will come off in time. It's not that much extra weight anyway. I guess you live and learn. Thanks again for the visit and the advise, I appriciate it as always.Get some rest and I hope you sleep well Spawn. ![]() Brenda
